WATER WORLDS: Hideouts for Alien Life?

Far beyond Earth, a new type of alien water planet could be speckling our galaxy by the billions, like cosmic dew drops.
These “Hycean Planets” range up to ten times the mass of the Earth, containing mega-oceans that could stretch down hundreds of kilometers.
Their extreme pressures keep their water liquid across a wide range of temperatures, broadening the zone in which they could host life. And researchers now believe that these worlds are extremely common in the universe.
Soon we will get our first peek into the atmosphere of a possible Hycean world, K2-18b, thanks to the James Webb Space Telescope. What secrets will these ocean worlds reveal? Is something out there, swimming freely in an ocean more vast that we can imagine?

@@nchaos. Cool! Yeah i imagined most of the alien life they show wasn't really theirs, specially with an alien so detailed. No one would model, texture and rig such a model for a 5 minute video. Either way, still it's cool to see aliens protrayed in a video about aliens, not many people do it

there are no aliens and the reason there aren't, is because if aliens are ever found on any planet that would negate the word of God the Bible….because the Bible never mention them, because there is none …this is hard to accept, but that’s the hard truth….if were aliens; God would’ve told us
@Ax6Creepyxxd
@Ax6Creepyxxd Жыл бұрын
@@horizodawn That's the most impressive thing to me. Editing, music, even if the animations are not his own most of the time, it speaks volumes that even footage that could be consider "stock" and "generic" in every other scenario just works beautifully with the right context and emotion. Melodysheep is a master at making generic videos feel amotional.

These planets interest me the most. Think of the alien marine we could find on them, they could either as small as phytoplankton or as large as whales or hell even bigger! Great example in my opinion of what alien marine life could look like are from Subnautica and Avatar 2. The cool thing is that we have water worlds in our own star system, places like Europa and Enceladus have sub surface oceans, along with others possibly Callisto and Ganymede.

I love your videos. They make me realize how big the universe is and how small me and my human problems actually are. It's all so much bigger than us... We are just such a small part of existence in the moment and also in all time.

can't portray how much I appreciate this channel... I spend a lot... an inordinate amount of time imagining and visualizing what alien life or even just the environments would be like. Melodysheep hits the astrobiology g-spot everytime man... LifeBeyond is better than 90% of all other astrobiology documentaries combined and I look forwarrrd to each and ever video you put out Melodysheep!

This video made me forget what i actually wanted to become! while watching this video, i just wanted to be an astronomer, and research about Hycan planets( i hope i spelled that right.) And alien life, and so much MORE! And the fact that this free!?? Is just mind-blowing.. You are so underrated, you deserve like-, 100M more followers I'm not gonna lie! The work you put into this, is so amazing! Words can't express how good this is! And, i also watched your "Future timelapse" video, IT WAS SOOOO GOOD!!! You explained everything so nicely, i understood everything you said. You definitely need to make a movie about Hycan planets! I would pay thousands for that.
