I painted along with you, and I'm really impressed with how mine came out! Thank you so much for making sketching so simple! I've never been great at drawing, but the way you broke it into different shapes and then went back in to define the edges was extremely helpful!

I really really really like how you’re starting to point out the shapes you’re seeing and being more detailed as you walk through your sketches. I’m trying to improve my sketching skills but I rarely see this covered in watercolor videos and it’s hard for me to try to fit in a full class that’s designed for folks who want to learn how to draw. Thank you so much!

I loved this lesson. I've been trying to paint shells but never getting the color to look the way I wanted. Listening to your thought process on selecting/mixing the colors was so helpful!

I really appreciate the artistic license with the coloring - sometimes I get so LITERAL, and I'd rather not. beautiful painting.

Yes, I do sometimes erase pencil marks after the painting is dry. It's just a matter of personal preference. :)

I did erase them after filming. I don't normally draw so dark, but I needed it to be visible for the video. :)

Emily, thank you for another Fabulous instructional video session! I delight at the way you show viewers how to acquire skills and the way you blend different techniques.
