I have been feeling lost as well but for some reason it has changed. All of a sudden I felt a shift. Not a full gung ho but a sense of being lost then finding something familiar. Not at the trailhead yet but I know what direction to go to find it. Not out of the woods but recognizing terrain and features to guide my way. Then over the past couple of days a flood of information has come to help me get there. It's been very weird and I'm extremely grateful. Thanks CeeCee for such a thought provoking video. Hope to see more of your videos if it's right for you to continue. If not then I will enjoy the ones you shared.

You're not alone in the creative department. I too have been finding it very difficult to find inspiration or even motivation to be creative. As a result I try to be at least a tiny bit productive on a daily basis even if it's only recording the day's activities in my journal. Margin drawings help. Doodling on a stray paper helps. Reading about other artists keeps my finger in the art world. I think it's this pandemic and its the affects of its presence. So, hang in there. I think we'll all get through the rough parts eventually. Special thoughts are being sent your way. Please continue to try to feed the "creative beast." :-)

I've said it before and I'll say it again. No one inspires me more than you do. I am sorry you are struggling. You are not alone. We are living in weird times and to me feel so very heavy on the soul. I am pleased you are doing what is best for you. As for the voice overs - don't worry about it. Say what you feel when you paint. I don't watch your videos as a step by step tutorial. I watch them because they make me happy. Watching someone create intuitively is inspiring. So thank you for all the joyful moments you have brought me since I've found your videos.

CeeCee - 2 years ago at the beginning of lockdown I found you on KZbin. Your creative works spoke to me and your warm personality drew me in. I bought what you suggested and I began to express myself through watercolor. This has brought me great joy personally and since I give away almost everything I paint, also brought joy to others. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing yourself on the KZbin platform and inspiring me and many of my friends to create! Hope this comment helps you in a small way as you maneuver through these troublesome times, as You have helped me! #❤️GOLDTOO

It is so good to see you again. Post when you want to and talk about whatever you want during the video. If we have questions we will ask. It is your time and effort put in for us to sit back and watch and learn. YOU can do as you please. We are appreciative! Maybe it would be fun if everyone told what some of their favorite Cee Cee videos were. I have to say that as a beginner I had so much fun with the ones where you painted a rough rectangle shape of about six with a few colors and then doodled leaves or branches over them in black. I did so many of those.

The most important thing, especially now, is to look after ourselves first. Just like on the plane when they tell us to put our own oxygen mask before helping others, we’re better able to function in the world when we put our own “mask” on first. I appreciate the effort you take to share your process with us and I’m always happy to see a new video, but I don’t expect it on any kind of regular schedule. It wouldn’t make sense to put something out just because it was time, because we would not get the wonderfully gold experience we get when you are enjoying what you’re doing. I love this piece a lot, it shows chaos and beauty at the same time. I’m going to try the red/gold combo, I’m intrigued by that. We’ll see you again when you’re ready ❤️

This has helped me on a dark day. I discovered you in January 2021 when I turned back to art to get me through 3 months of winter lockdown. Your tutorials were a revelation. They taught me that it was ok to colour outside of the lines and that we didn't actually need lines to begin with! You started my love of metallic paints and I now have a (not so) small collection of them. I have sat looking at the wall trying to get out of a hole all day. Having watched this at almost teatime I now want to go and paint. Thank you for your constant inspiration.

Ceecee, thank you, thank you for your calm and inspiring work. I just recovered from a bout of flu and still felt a bit fragile this morning. It was storming here in Houston last night and continued into the morning --- and then the power went out. Dark. Ugh. Hours later the power was restored, AND the most beautiful sunny day was born! I took a walk around my neighborhood and was rejuvenated by the redbud blossoms and new green leaves. My wish for you is a beautiful day that will last all week. xxoo

Your work is amazing. Absolutely love it. No apologies necessary. Sometimes the weight of “current events” gets in the way. About a year ago I went thru a period where I lost that freedom that comes with creating. So I had the bright idea of making a painting that was dark and scary. I struggled to make it as dark and scary as possible. But I carried on adding random things that might seem scary using the darkest colors possible. I was determined to put everything down on the paper and didn’t stop until I ran out of ideas. Then I set it aside and out of the way to dry. A few days later I looked at it and had a good laugh. Because it wasn’t the least bit scary and while I thought the colors were somber they weren’t. Clearly it wasn’t a work of art I would put on the wall. At the same time it gave me perspective. Plus it got all that stuff out on the paper. I had done my worst and was ready to just let myself paint. Your colors are beautiful. The way you put them down on the paper is wonderful to behold. Carry on. Take care of yourself first and the rest will follow. Don’t forget to laugh. I shared my experience because it helped me and I hope it can help others.

Hello CeeCee, I'd like to thank you very much for the joy your videos bring to me every time I watch them (yes, I did watch some of them several times, still do :D) and the paintings you do are so inspiring. I learned so much from you, so I am now much more familiar with watercolors and I enjoy painting with them immensely. I am rather well at the moment, although it's Winter which usually comes with depression and stagnation. I "blame" your videos and the beautiful colours I learned of from you, the higher Vitamin D dose I get and my grandkids coming over every other weekend. So I go better through the Winter 21/22 than I did the last 6 years and I am rather greatful and happy. BTW this painting is wonderful, I love the colour combination and the scarlett from Daniel Smith is stunning! And the gold from Kremer, who are not so far away as many other producers as I am living in Germany, is the best! You are so right to love it and I do too now.

So lost! Thank you for sharing your creative process. You have always encouraged and inspired me the most out of all. I struggle with keeping positive with trying with enjoying the process of watercolor and turning out a piece I feel is acceptable. It can be so painful and frustrating. Even just the everyday aside from my art is sometimes so fearful and not enjoyable even though I am so deeply blessed and happy. Giving a peek into your thoughts and feelings helps me as well as so many others to realize our struggles though painful are not all particular to ourselves. So many are struggling disillusioned fearful and frustrated and yet to see you finish and push through this to finish this piece and your video is fresh air that whispers you can do it and you must keep at it in a world that is so very difficult. Thank you so very much and please just keep taking care of you. Whenever and whatever you choose to share will be enough. Feel the love

Life is good now 😊 Whatever is happening for you just now I'm sending you the warmest, heartfelt hugs for strength. I love to see your art and I'm just happy to see it whenever you feel like posting. Take care of precious you xx

Thank you so much for these doodle videos. Watching you create is so very relaxing. I love art but it is very difficult for me to get the vision in my head or what I’m looking at and want to draw/paint to travel to my hand. Maybe it is part of being slightly dyslexic. Doodles are allowing me to create and not feel discouraged about my artistic abilities yet come up with something that is pleasing to the eye. Thank you for showing so many of us how to let our creativity out of our minds and on to paper. Bless you.

I have watched daily for your posting. I have found I refuse to let what’s happening in the world affect my inner peace. You don’t have to look far to see how blessed we are. I hope your inner voice comes thru as a happier talking to yourself because you have no clue how lucky you are and how many of us wish we could create like you. Breath dear friend. Breath deep

CeeCee, one of the things that draws me to your videos is your narrative, whether it be talking about the process or you sharing your thoughts. I find you to be very genuine, and your voice is very soothing. All I can say is, you do you! If the content of that particular video is not someone's cup of tea, oh look, a stop button! In my opinion, these videos must not only be for the viewers satisfaction, but also the creators and to expect anything else would be rediculous! You do you and the appropriate audience will follow! I love your soul, take care of it first above all else.! Blessings to you

I think it’s safe to say we all love your work and your videos. You are very open and honest which is so nice a world where a lot of people pretend or don’t show what really goes on behind the seens . But at the end of the day you have to do what is right for you and your wellbeing. If what you do on KZbin ever takes you away from what you love then find a way to find a balance that is best for you xx

Ooooooo I love this piece and just watching your process is so inspiring. When this video popped up in my feed a few days ago, I immediately stuck it in my “watch later” list, just waiting for my next watercolor mood. And now here I am, painting along with you. It’s so hard for me to just DOODLE with watercolor, but you make it look easy, fun, and beautiful.

I love your art style so much, it’s so hard to describe what about it brings me so much joy. It’s simplistic, modern and enchanting. The worlds created in your pieces are incredible and it’s fun to explore each and every detail. I hope you’re able to feel better and you shouldn’t have to apologize for taking care of yourself. Have a wonderful rest of your week!

It's been a very difficult two years for me too, like everyone else. When one news story starts to get a bit better, another one crops up that's worse. Especially for creatives, it just gets to be a bit too much. I'm grateful for all the beauty you've brought to us in spite of everything. It's time to prioritize yourself and do what you need to do to regain your strength and mojo in whatever way works for you. Thank you for sharing what so many of us feel. ❤️

I think it is safe to say, you have made a huge (and positive) impact on a lot of people. I found your stuff a bit over a year ago and it gave me the courage to try again with watercolors. Something else that you said about how you get to a point in a painting where you’re not happy and then somehow it comes together, resonated with me. I almost always make what I consider to be a fatal mistake somewhere along the line in a painting and at that point I can tell myself, well, do anything you want because you’ve already ruined it! Some of these ‘mistakes’ have turned into my favorite pieces. Please keep painting and please, first and foremost, take care of yourself!

I can appreciate you having a painting in the beginning that you do not like. That happens to me many times. But you persisted and developed something wonderful. As with other paintings you do in your videos, I love them from beginning to end and give me hope that I can have a poor start and not give up painting.

Dear Cee Cee, love your art sessions a lot! You're a source of inspiration to me. I love how you share your experiences... and I love your honesty. I can relate to you a fair bit! I understand about being authentic and vulnerable at the same time can be challenging... Please don't stop believing in yourself and sharing of yourself. That's what is precious to me of course apart from your art ... Which style I really like! You have a great personality and I personally think that art represent ourselves and I like that you share who you truly are. I totally get the questioning... but please keep the flow going and be not afraid. You're a gift to all of us that are sometimes feeling alone and lonely!

HI cee cee!! thank for uploading and sharing!! After listening and absorbing what your talking about … Perhaps it is the time for you to really let go… By this I mean a huge huge watercolor where you abandon everything… this means everything you know, every thought is let go, every reason for anything is tossed aside… find the largest brushes you have … get bowls of paint colors you love… stand up and free style your way through!! … As far as gold? do it with randomness :) … we are all sick snd tired… I admit it … but daggone it… spring is around the corner! love you all!
