Pro tip for anyone who glued the flowers in before doing the cover and are nervous: just do it on a separate paper, cut your stuff out and glue it on just like the flowers inside. Gives the whole thing a cute scrapbook-y look and you don't have to stress about messing up :D

Yes! That's my longtime trick too. If the cover ends up not to your liking, do a new one and glue over it. A little marker, paint or ink on the edges give it dimension and make it look less like covering up a mistake.

Thank you for this beautiful tutorial! I'm a little crafty but I certainly can't draw or paint. I don't even have watercolors yet but I was able to follow your video with diluted craft paint and make something really lovely for mother's day. I can't believe it. I encourage everyone to give this a try, cutting it all out really elevates the whole thing - even my "failed" flowers were usable with some shading and a stamen. Beautiful tutorial! I saw your first tutorial beginning of January, and this is the first I’m attempting :) I don’t think I’ve really painted with watercolors since high school, now fifty , so it was definitely time to start again.
