Awesome, I almost blew past this one but decided to discipline myself and do the tedious steps anyway! So glad I did. I used to teach 'tole' style painting in the 80's. I taught myself to paint in acrylic and was quite good at it. Watercolor and acrylic are quite different to work with and I had no experience in watercolor. I discovered that of the 100+ paint brushes I had on hand that none were the right size or type and promptly went to my local art supplier to find something adequate for this project. Living in Taiwan and currently being in a lockdown situation I was relieved to find my neighborhood art supply was open! At this stage of my life (age 70) I find I just want to paint and produce something nice without putting a lot of time in it! Thanks for these tutorials that are simple and yet can be a challenge. I used to tell people when they did a certain brush stroke 10,000 times, they would do it correctly! Shame on me for not practicing what I have preached! A grateful fan and admirer! I'm a great-grandma of 20 and my heart smiles out loud when I see you with your little man. Blessings!

How do you separate the finished piece from the block? - I have my first painting on the block finished but I am stumped and bumfuzzled on how to get it off without wrecking the block aspect of the rest of the pages. - I did get excited when you pulled out your Arches Hot Press block, my favourite paper, 'cause I thought I'd get a demo on how to get to the next page. LOL

Victoria Horner she used only the tip and brushed it very lightly but quickly, she also put her hand on the paper(table), it’s more stable that way instead of having your hand in the air.

your paintings are amazingly beautiful but I don't know why but it's so hard for me to paint along with you, I stopped watching you because of that... I don't know if it's the speed painting or simply you are far more advanced in what you do and make it look simple but then it's not when regular people try it. I don't have this problem with other people I follow (targeted at beginner painting also)
