Hello Michele I liked this video, something came to mind about transparency. Can you suggest a technique for painting a sheer window curtain over a painted wall without getting it muddy or too opaque, hence loosing the transparency of the curtain. If you get a chance, please help with this problem of transparency. Thank you and do take care.

Hiya Michele, A great way to portray a Spiders web in undergrowth is to emboss it and then glaze over it carefully so that the web shows up keeping some of the paper colour in the indentations. I prefer a narrow embossing tool for this. Thanks for another great video, David.x

I love the technique with the water into the paint creating the soft fluffy fur. I am going to be creating a Painting soon which I’ve been struggling with identifying a technique for this very thing. The fur the white fur going into the background colors. My animal is black and white or at the very least predominantly black and white. I want to be able to maintain a crisp white area in the body of the animal while still creating those lovely water affect with the war whatever it. I look forward to your feedback about how I am I mean teen a clean white area in the body of the animal. Thank you so much for a sub ll this great content and for your advice.

@@IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber I don’t know how you made any sense from my comment. I always auto enter it and obviously failed to go back and find the errors. Unfortunately, I don’t use Facebook and realize that it is sometimes a missed opportunity. I enjoyed a number of your videos today.

I don’t like the say the craft knife lifts the paper off. I think I prefer the embossing tool. Thank you.
@IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber2 жыл бұрын
It doesn't always lift the paper Barb, it's hard to do it on camera, if you are careful it just makes a little scratch :-)
@carollen56012 жыл бұрын
Barb/// would it depend on the weight of the paper? Some papers when wet cannot be scratched, perhaps it's due to their quality?
