In this video, I explain my workflow for painting watercolor house portraits in Procreate. This house illustration technique is really easy and fund, and it makes for a great gift or a product to sell on your etsy store.
How do you paint watercolor in procreate?
By combining some special brushes and a watercolor paper texture, we can paint in this watercolor style. All the brushes, textures, and materials are linked above. They all come with video instruction on how to use them, so it's something you can use even if you are totally new to Procreate.

I prefer this one because it's just so easy to get amazing colors and rich, textured shading. This printer is not suitable for printing tiny stuff, like postage stamp size, because it's only going to do 150dpi. That's good enough for a greeting card or anything larger (I prefer to print larger stuff anyways).

HI Michael! This is a great idea! I can create a brief written answer here for now: On etsy, keep it very simple. Your customers aren't super interested is huge lists on technical details so I would make the listing say something like this: Size: High Quality 300dpi 8"X10" 16"x20" 11"x17" Sizes included. Custom sizes available upon request. For the dpi, 300dpi is fine but it isn't super important if the file is a jpeg or a PNG. I would recommend distributing the digital artwork as a PNG embedded inside a PDF file. This will safeguard the artwork from being compressed and force the correct sizes because the PDF makes it easier to specify that. For the color, RGB is better because modern printer do a phenomenal job of conversion. Occasionally you might get requests for a CMYK version but you can handle those on an individual basis.

Love this tutorial and the brushes! One question- despite changing my brush size the house brushes stay the same size, the tip just gets smaller, so I end up with ginormous bricks or siding that’s barely there. Is there a fix for that or am I doing something wrong? TIA 😊

I alwasy use the fineliner pen because it's fully opaque so it erases completely without leaving some faded stuff behind, and it aslo has tiny bit of a rough edge so it looks more natural.

There are some really great watercolor filters like Simply Watercolor. You can paint on top of a photo but it was harder for me than I first thought 🤔
