Dont make yourself crazy !!! SIMPLE have fun just do it. I got one of these brushes. It's great. I just did a trip and printed out my lighthouse photos... LOVE THIS Thank you soooo much !! Play Play Play....

This is a great simple lighthouse with rocks on a hill. I enjoy using the dry brush techniques more often for my paintings, so this will be a wonderful challenge to give a try. I definitely would not have thought that using a flat brush only would give such fantastic details & results for painting this either. Thanks for sharing this wonderful lesson with us!

Gosh Ellen! How I love your lighthouses. When I started watercoloring a few years back, I did one of your lighthouse tutorials and still have that piece. If you ever have mugs done of any of your lighthouses let me know. I started my seashell piece from your tutorial the other day and somehow got some dry brush texture and now I don’t want to cover it with the shell doodles 😂.
