I've been watching you for months and would love to see you try an Elegant Trogon - they are vibrant and nobody on KZbin seems to have done one

This macaw is so beautiful!! ❤ I’ve been following you since you started making videos and I am so thrilled seeing your success!! You are my favorite artist and I aspire to paint like you someday. I just love the layered look in your washes and the details which, in combination, create a beautiful balance. I look forward to receiving your book that I pre-ordered in support of you! Congratulations!🍾🎊🎉🎈

Love watching your videos because I struggle with the loose technique of painting. I always put too much detail and overwork the piece. It would be really helpful, to me, if you could show the original reference photo to one side of the screen so that we can understand how you transfer your inspiration to the paper and how it compares.

I often link the reference image in the video description. It takes a lot of practice to learn how to not to overwork things, so try to be patient with yourself.

@@paintedwing Thank you. Trying to 'unlearn' a technique, I find, is almost as difficult as learning from scratch. Telling myself to 'step away' from the painting and put down the brushes is quite a hurdle

Love this! But then I love all your paintings. What about doing an octopus?
