Watercolor Painting - Easy and Simple Still Life- Pomegranate-Tutorial for Beginners

In this video, I will paint a Pomegranate as a easy simple still life in watercolor for beginners. We will learn how to describe the light and shadow of a subject in drawing still life painting. Someone asked me what color I apply for the shadow. I use the some kind of purple color which was generated from mixing ultramarine and magenta.
This pomegranate skin color is very pretty and various. On there, we need to find out hidden color, red, yellow, purple, crimson, burnt umber...
COLOR: opera, crimson lake, burnt umber, ultramarine deep.
PAPER: Arches Cold Pressed 140lb.
BRUSH: Davinci 8 and 5 cosmotop Mix B, Mozart supply 4.

Thank you, Ms. Hyun, for this excellent tutorial! I am going to try tomorrow. :) I have tried the Purple Onion yesterday, and I love your creation and techniques! I am learning a lot from you. Also, I am wondering if you can do a fig watercolor painting demo? For example, with two whole fig and another one cut open into half? I am curious how you paint the fig details. Other topics for you to consider are: garlics or a braid of garlics; fire dragon fruit (pitaya); papaya; persimmon (with one cut open). I also have a question, if there are water drops on the fruits and vegetables, what are your techniques to paint those water drops? Thank you so much for your time and teaching, Ms. Hyun. Cheers! :)
