This is the best tutorial that I have seen from you so far on KZbin. It checks multiple boxes - highly informative, brilliant choice of subject and awesome display of painting skills. You have taught three important techniques without uttering a word - how to use the white of the paper so effectively to paint reflection of light, the masterly use of negative painting to do an otherwise impossible task of painting grass/hay and how to use tonalism to convey a harmony of colours, light & shadows. Only an amazing artist like you can achieve this. Absolutely awe-inspiring !!

Can you let us know the brand of brushes that you use. The thin brush that you have used - looks like a liner brush - is amazing as it is does not have extra bounce and remains stiff enough to paint details.

Wow! Beautiful ! So much to learn! When I saw the reference photo, I was anxious to know how the paddy field is going to be painted because there is lot of detail ! So many places were the plant is overlapping the women. To learn it, I sometime rewind a bit to know how exactly it was painted ! In the initial wash itself some places were not covered. I found that was intentional and well-planned as something was intended to be painted there ! I found that the paddy field was painted using dry-brush technique. There is extensive use of negative painting too ! While I have seen many leading watercolour artists of foreign countries using masking fluid and white gouache paint (for highlights), Sunil sir has just such parts unpainted to expose the white paper using negative painting technique !

Hi, you can adjust speed of videos in youtube. ..it has option. ..pls check in youtube settings. ..Daniel smith,Windsor and Nuten, Sennelier and Mission gold also very good colors. ..Thank you
