My whole childhood parents wasted hard earned money on fake art tutors. Only found two good teachers but couldn’t continue because we moved. After hundreds on dollar were wasted, I finally found KZbin tutorials which are so much better. This channel is one of those. Love it

Absolutely awesome. I have seen many different versions of painting a pumpkin in watercolor which did not cause my reaction to rise. Your paintings did. My husband is a vegetable farmer and grows and sells said veggies at our roadside stand. We are in the Fall phase now and naturally he grows large, picture perfect pumpkins with beautiful large twisted stems as well as with vines. Each pumpkin is handled with care when picking to keep their true character. For me, I am just as picky when painting a pumpkin, although I do not give the justice a pumpkin deserves, as I am fairly new in this medium, painting in oils for 20 years. Your technique in bringing a pumpkin to life. I loved the colors you used. I also like that you did not use a dark brown at the bottom creating that darker shade. We have been growing pumpkins, pie pumpkins, cool looking gourds, Indian corn, etc., for over 50 years ( yes...I am 73) and I have never seen a dark brownish color at the bottom on our pumpkins. Thank you so much for giving both pumpkins their dignity. You did a fabulous job on the white pumpkin as well. Naturally we grow the white ones as well. Well done!

I just discovered you and I simply love your pumpkins, especially the one with the large handle on the pumpkin. The stem is very important to the pumpkin. It is the very character of the pumpkin. The more the twisted and rough the better. You do a beautiful job. I will have to attempt at drawing and I am new at watercolor. I love the way you teach and you are very informative!!!! Very important to we beginners. It is that first mark or color on your paper which is the hardest. But you make it so very easy looking. Thank you so very much! You are now one of my favorites. I only wish there were more hours in a day to paint all day and then deal with the normal stuff of cooking for hubby, and other hum drum things! Thank you.

@@Nianiani I used to have the most fun hallowen decorations in fhe neighborhood and loved greeting the children at the door. I havent done Halloween for the last 5 years. :( In my mind Im young and vibrant, but my body says otherwise. Ha ha Watercoloring is a low energy project. Its not heavy or too difficult.
