When I started WC, I would try to paint with the tutorials. Invariably, I wouldn't have a paint brush or color the artist was using, and I lost time searching. It drove me crazy! Now, I watch the tutorial, plan my composition, and get my supplies. It saves me a lot of frustration.

Very beautiful painting. I’m getting back into art after a bit of time away. I’m learning watercolors now as something new to try and I love watching your videos for information. I was doing pastel and colored pencils for years. Thank you for the great videos. Once my studio is finished being cleaned and organized I plan on joining your patreon for tutorials. I have a degree in illustration and a degree in computer science. My job is software development but I still love to do art for fun and relaxation. You give me inspiration to get my butt back into art. I also have tons of art books that I study and look through. Funny enough I just bought 2 of James Gurney’s books. They arrived two days ago and then you mention him. I’ll probably start asking you questions as time goes on and I get into it.
