Such a lovely scene! I kept thinking about coastal Scotland, even though I've never been there. Great tips! Thank you!

Well done, and thanks for explaining your colors and why you’re selecting them. Very helpful

Wonderful tutorial again, thank you, Andy. Are there reasons you sometimes choose to tape down the paper, and sometimes wet the front and back without taping it down? Different purpose or results you're looking for? Thank you!

Thanks for the question. I mostly use watercolor blocks that don't require stretching or taping down. so the tape is really only there to create a neat white border at the end

Yes, I hadn't thought about that and i suppose it doesn't really make sense does it? 🙃maybe I'll move it!

@@solvingwatercolour3633 I was worried you would splatter paint on your paper.

Absolutely stunning. Can you share what kind of brush you are using? Thank you.
@solvingwatercolour363311 ай бұрын
Sure. The initial brush used to wet the sky is a Japanese style "Hake" pronounced "Hah-Kay" the main brush is a Chinese bamboo calligraphy brush,. They're both very cheap brushes actually, less than $10 each
