I was doing some watercolor the other day and telling myself, "just get the shape of the color not the leaf" or "it's a shape of a color, stop overthinking it"... and I think I heard it in your voice. You make the process seem so easy and simple. It is not. But thank you for making it feel like it was, so me a complete noob could attempt and get somewhat recognizable result.

Haha happy I could help, hoping my voice isn't too intrusive 😂 It is really REALLY easy once you see the entire picture (not just your reference photo, but the whole watercolor painting process). Thank you for watching 🙏😊

I like this painting so much more than the photo. I wondered, "What does he see in that picture?" And then you showed me. I could watch videos like this all day - I learn so much!

Thank you so much 😊 It’s a great question by the way! What someone sees in a photo. The only reason I wanted to paint it was because I had a connection with it. I took it, and I remember the rain and flood we woke up to 😁 I really enjoyed that morning and seeing everyone skipping over tables and raised platforms. I believe this pic was taken the next day, when the water level dropped a bit

I love this type of video! Watching you paint and make decisions in real time is so interesting. ❤ Thank you for sharing. Painting looks great.

Thank you so much Jacqueline 😊 I really missed doing these real time narrated processes (and they are so much faster to make, no editing needed haha!)

@@LironYan exactly! Lol but I always prefer to watch real time videos anyway. When I paint I change things so much it’s not at all like the beginning. Paint, lift, paint, glaze. lol

Yes, definitely want to see more videos on painting loosely. Great video. It helped me understand much more. I was wondering if you I need to really be detailed. You've answered my question I had in my mind for sometime! Thanks!

So happy to hear! Thank you for watching 🙏😊 Yes - it seems many struggle with this exact issue. The details can be portrayed using a variety of "levels of abstraction", so to speak. It can look more high resolution, or low resolution - and it'll still look beautiful (especially from afar). Happy this helped!

The colours are lovely in this quick sketch. It's clear to see the activity here. You must have enjoyed painting this, Liron as much as we've enjoyed seeing it come to life. Thank you for sharing.

I’m mesmerized how you can make blobs appear to be people. I hope we get to watch you do the actual watercolour.

All the credit goes to you! 😁 The human brain interprets abstract shapes as real objects. I simply put the pieces together 😉🙏

I recently was looking at some watercolors by John Singer Sargent, this reminds me of some of the loose watercolors he did of Venice. Thank you as always for sharing.

I love how loose you paint. It looks like if it would be easy...but I know it' s not. And I like a lot the colors you use. Thank for showing us. Greetings from Madrid!

Great tutorial! Thank you :) And what are these nice tiny long and thin pans in schmincke palette? Never seen such before. Are they custom made? Should be very handy in use. At least it looks like very comfy pans

Under 30 minutes! Loose and tight like Bob Ross with a slightly higher difficulty factor. 👍
