This little painting has a little bit of every technique - wet on wet, lost edges, dry brush, aerial perspective on the tail. A really nice composition too.

@@vickyyu7414 yes, something that really makes me mad is that even if I try to reproduce one of my own paintings I'll get a different result, it's so hard to master watercolor! But that's why we are all here :)

I understand that there is randomness of watercolor effect, which is why we love it, but at the same time, I want to control how to show the type of effect that I intended. How do you do it? You just slop it on there, and it comes out like a masterpiece…. I slop stuff on, and it is unrecognizable. Thanks for the tutorial. I’m going to try the wet paper on both sides technique. 😊
