@@WatercolorbyShibasaki you're a good artist and I'm doing some cat colouring pages that I decided to sell, I made them by tracing them with my tracing pad
I would had loved a teacher like you when I was at school! They never teached is how to use light and shadow, but it's never too late to learn.

Exactly, art in school was always about doing random craft and they put too much emphasis on having fun instead of improving kid’s drawing skills. I mean, there’s nothing wrong with fun art, but it’s in every single lesson and it doesn’t change even in secondary/high school. I mean, i didn’t even learn how to hold my pencil correctly for drawing on school.
It is an ideal way to teach children and not so children how to draw an apple, it is true when you tell us that we should focus our attention on the whole, on the whole and not on the detail, it is a more efficient way of being able draw more expressively !!! This video, dear Professor Shibasaki, is very beautiful and didactic !!! ... Thank you very much for your didactic way of transmitting your precious art to us !!! Greetings and blessings to you from distant Argentina, Elba :-)
He reminds me so much of Bob Ross. His soothing voice and the scratch of the pencil like Bobs soft voice and the sound from the stroke of the brush- you can just *hear* the texture. Thanks for the video! 😊💛

The textured shape of this drawing representing an apple gives the impression of being in 3D. This optical effect is achieved thanks to the magic of the pencil which "prints" by successive layers the apple and gives it this "rounded" aspect. A course for a better understanding of the drawing. Thanks again for this exchange.🍎♥️🎁👩🎨
I think i'm going to work on my pencil drawing tomorrow. Havn't worked on it for like 3 month. This is a great inspiration. Thank you Mr. Shibasaki!

I have recently started to draw and paint again due to the lock down and your youtube content has been fantastic in giving me practical tuition and the confidence to try more projects, but I have to say your calm but full of passion personality is the best thing about your channel. You are a fabulous artist, thank you for posting and stay safe.

Another great lesson from a great teacher ❤️. I like to watch the whole video first or probably a couple times and then try it myself. Love the concept of drawing a box, never heard that before. Can't wait for your next drawing lesson. Thank you!
I have been waiting for more food related sketch@painting tutorial from you, because I wanted to do a few artwork for my kitchen and dining room. Love this so much! You are a really good teacher. My pencil sketches and watercolour paintings improved a lot since I watched you. Thanks❤

I admit to being dubious when you started talking about shading the apple as a box, but the final result was impressive. As others have said before, if only there more art teachers like you in schools. You give actual helpful advice in whatever medium you use.

What a lovely old man. You inspired me to pick up watercolour especially now when we have to stay home. I think at the end of the quarantine hopefully I can paint a nice landscape painting that I can hang up on my walls!

Your videos help me relax after class and practice my Japanese listening skills, thank you so much!
I love this! Super easy and your words always encourage and inspire me to work harder on my projects. Sending you lots of love and wishing you good health mr. Shibasaki :) PS. I also started learning Japanese slowly because of you! The language is really nice and soothing, and writing kanji is almost like an art itself. Thank you for everything!
