Great blog!! The flower you were not sure what it is called, is a star magnolia. I have this tree in my yard. The flowers bloom first, then the leaves come. Just a beautiful tree.

Hi Patty, thank you for your tutorial. Love your colouring. Probably somebody already answered your questions about the name of the flowers. But just in case they did not. The flowers on the card with the yellow/orange flowers and lily like leaves are nasturtiums, and the flowers on the one of the first cards you showed are on a magnolia tree. I hope this helps and since it is already New Year's eve when I'm typing this, I want to wish you a happy, healthy and successful 2025. May all your wishes come true. Take care

Could you show how you do the coloring the background and color up to each line of the patterns and color the corners of the borders. I see using the ruler on the straight part but what about the corner border my mom could do the lines straight free hand but I cant.

There wasn't any way for me to see your question live, but as I mentioned in the video I just drew the four semi-circles free hand with the marker after drawing the straight lines with the triangle
