I appreciated the "tip/truck" of doing a clean water wash over the background flower to soften the edges. The composition guidelines were also helpful. As usual, your finished painting was stunning. Thanks.

Yes, great tip as out the clean water wash atop the background flower petals, and great the overall guidelines and outcome.

Thank you, Louise, for another great video. I always learn something new with each one. This time the gem was washing over an area with plain water to soften and bring a cohesiveness to it. I will try it today on my current painting. Thanks again!

@@LouiseDeMasi My name is Truly and thank you for your concern. We are into our second hurricane now. It is a category 5 at the moment. I am in NE Florida however we will get the rain and winds which are bad. The oak trees are saturated and have a tendency to break to damage many homes leaving us without power. Much love to you sweet Louise!

Ohh that’s halarious that you 😂ask Dom if he wants to do it. Too cute 🥰. Great tips for composition & I really appreciate the tip of how to blend everything together with a little bit of dampness on a clean brush! I am just starting to get the hang of that very thing. Super helpful video for composition which I am focusing on more lately. Thanks so much. Enjoy your weekend!

This is lovely. Wonderful tips on composition! I like the thirds idea. Frustratingly, my compositions always end up off center.

Hi Louise, as always it’s beautiful! I hope you make a similar tutorial. I have a question: could you please demonstrate how to simplify and paint a center of a rose where there are a lot of small tiny stems are coming. They bring liveliness and beauty, but when done wrong can ruin the whole painting. Thank you!
