I’ve just found your channel, have been looking at many pen and wash channels but you are good, you are certainly “ up there “ as far as skill level goes, I have used polychromos and purchased various sets over the years, then selling them on because I have never felt the artwork is good enough but perhaps watching your channel may inspire me to greater glory, I have a large collection of art materials except the Polychromos, but never say never again, being a bird watcher for over 40 years and having spent many days at Cley and having watched sunsets and sunrises over the marshes your picture of Cley Mill is spot on, so evocative, full of mood, thank you for sharing this, Mike

So nice...I have an original done by Wesson of this scene drawn from the other side. I've painted it myself. And I'm also a fan of Rowland Hilder. I lived in Norfolk as a boy in Brancaster while my family was there with the US Air Force. Love the area. Thank you for this.

Thank Mike, its a very popular scene for artist to paint, looks good from any angle, always makes a nice composition, I've spent many long happy summers in Norfolk, hoping to get back there this summer, camera and sketchbook in hand :)

Inspirational! Have 2 windmills within 1/4 mile (0.4 km); one of which as been repurposed as a chicken coop after a Nor’easter blew the blades off. That particular residence is over 200 years old & would be a great subject. 🤔

A chicken coop? well why not I guess, better than letting the windmill fall into ruins,

I love this , honestly I’ve got to do this one and the oast house one they are a perfect matching pair . I am truly inspired to tackle both of them, the ink I know I will love and with the layering of the watercolour in this style I believe I may be able at last to tackle my Nemesis Watercolour 🙏🏻 , Thankyou for doing this and the other one , it’s a new year and time to address a medium that I have always wanted to become more proficient in, Margaret what are you waiting for “ as you think so you become ……..” I’m sure all your other patrons will see what I see, two beautifully matched paintings which if successful will occupy an empty space on a wall , Thankyou
