Paul, I know you made a joke about your integrity (I absolutely love your random humor 😂), but you DO have integrity and I’m probably one of thousands who have such respect for you for that alone! I can’t even count how many artists videos I’ve seen over the years. And no matter how good their work or instruction, it’s an instant turn off when they’re pushing for your Patreon support or promoting a company because they’re sponsored by them. You are like fresh air in the KZbin stench of “I’m all that.” You hardly ever even mention your tip jar! (If anyone is reading this who doesn’t know- Paul has a tip jar that he doesn’t promote because he has class and he’s humble.) Anyway, thank you so much for your brilliance in art & instruction, your humor which has us all lol-ing, and maybe most important- your rare integrity!! Hats off to a wonderful human being!

Sharon Thrift I am so glad I FOUND YOU. I love castles. These days I am painting from my bed. I am in respiratory failure due to Systemic Lupus. I have a 60 year history with oils and last 25 years with acrylics. I always wanted to learn water colors but thought it was to hard. I have tremors in both hands. Was so glad to hear your remarks about perfect lines. I have the paints you used and agree they are excellent. I am in the loosies group because of the tremors and love it to. Thank you so much for your generosity.

Hi Paul... As many people here, each Wednesday has its special moment : for me, it's in the early evening when everything calms down. I tried the line & wash and I really discovered something new : I like it with small touches, very thin lines ;-) I show some of your videos to my full of energy dad, 90 years old, and he really admires your work. He could draw, very well, as a teen, but he had to start working very young and lost this ability. But he's still interested by seeing artists working. He doesn't understand English but I translate for him. Great and precious moments, I can tell you !

I like your version of the castle Paul. I've seen many. Done it three times myself and have never done it any good. Maybe I just need to try a different view of the castle. Not now though. Painting a portrait of a grizz looking upward in a listening posture. I call it "Listening to his creator". Hey, I can't help it. That's the first thing that crossed my mind the instant I finished his eyes. The woman thats paying for it said the same thing. I like your castle. Your skill, the talent (not same things) and the colors you chose. The view as well I think. Great painting.
