It is readily available in Toronto - Every store has it. Perhaps qualify where you live rather than stating "in Canada" it is a big place and there will be LOTS of areas where it is readily available for purchase.

So happy to find your channel because I'm growing watercress for the first time in my tabletop diy hydroponics box. I searched "watercress" or maybe it was "hydroponics watercress" and your vid popped up. I'm in AZ but this vid made me so happy because I grew up and in Pomona. All my kids were born in Pomona. We had a house there and my dad would grow all kinds of plants. I miss it so much. Thanks for making my heart smile, bringing back all the memories and the watercress info.

That's just why your watercress took so many months to grow. Because... You didn't have them in water. Try splashing the stems in pond like containers and see how wonderfully they grow. Thanks for the video.

Can you elaborate? “Splashing stems in pond like containers?? They did take a long time to grow! Thank you!
@kqdwills Жыл бұрын
I think her watercress seeds germinated fast. My watercress took roughly a month to germinate outside in a pond-like container ( with no- hole at the bottom. I think watercress seeds takes a long time to germinate. Her watercress seeds germinated fast, but growing slowly probably because she plant them too dense together, so they didn't have enough room and nutrition to grow bigger. I think I'll try the method planting watercress from store bought cuttings, because they grow roots fast from cuttings. I'll also try to grow some more watercress outside, since I still have lots of seeds left . I bought the seeds from various sources. The seeds germinated slowly probably were old seeds.
