But that's fine because it's a perfectly playable and enjoyable single player experience since there won't be any enemy players killing you through walls and noclip bhopping through the sky box. There's also simply no feasible way to balance and bug fix a multi-player game without a large-scale beta test like CS2 had. Current CS2 is also, by any reasonable standard, a polished game (the moderation is separate issue). The Gabe Newell quote at the end is damning but for me it’s the story Victor Antonov tells about the abandoned subway that is the most obvious point that they’re working on a new half life. He says (referring to the train station used as a reference for the first level of hl2) that “luckily, coincidentally the station reverted to the exact state it was in 20 years ago”. He says luckily as if the station reverting back miraculously to the state it was in 20 years ago today is beneficial for him in some way. It doesn’t get much clearer than that.

Mike is such a friendly/fun person to have as the ambassador for Half Life. You can see him holding back his laughter with Danny during his interview, great to see a humble person like that keeping us in the know in whatever way he can. No matter what day Hl3/X comes out, i'm delighted to hear his voice again!

The next thing is CS2, same thing happen,some keep denying, and out of nowhere Valve dropped a short trailer showcasing how smoke grenades work in the game. Valve is just that full of surprises Just wait and look, come back to this comment when HL3 gets announced, because i will.
