Waterfall Way | Thora to Dorrigo Mountain

Waterfall Way is a 170 kilometre country road from Raleigh, on the Pacific coast, to the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales at Armidale.
From the Bellinger River at Thora, the road winds up the steep escarpment through lush rainforest all the way up to a height of 750m at Dorrigo Mountain.
Let’s go for a drive from Thora to the top of the mountain, crossing precarious single lane waterfall ‘bridges’ along the way.

Wow! I just did a rant on the LeFevre peninsula post and here I am reminiscing about my great aunt, who ran the Dorrigo pub and my few years as a young hippy hiding out in Bellingen. Please, a video of a tour of Bellingen would be fab! It's like fairy land at night.

Just spent four days on the Kalang River near Bellingen! Love the place. I don't have a tour of Bello up my sleeve (spent a lot of time there lately being an old hippie) but I do have a drive along the Promised Land loop road coming soon.
