Hi all! It's been a couple of months since I just relaxed and created some sheleeart blooms just for fun--it really is art therapy, especially when everything was working the way it's supposed to. Here are 4 blooms with similar colors using Golden fluid acrylics and TLP pigments; I got a new batch of Australian Floetrol and everything was just, well flowing. Such a great feeling when the stars align! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video--full recipe is below including the cell activator. Let me know which one is your favorite and thanks so much for watching! PLEASE help me get to 70K and subscribe--it is very appreciated! xoxo Karen
I turned the volume down in those portions of the video so you wouldn't have to hear the hair dryer drone on and on LOL.

Colors/Brands:
House Paint-base aka puddle for the canvas:
Glidden Essentials in Eggshell) -- 4 cup batch mixed with 1/4 cup Golden GAC800 to prevent crazing.
Pouring Medium aka PM Recipe-mix with all colors EXCEPT the cell activator:
Behr 8300 Untinted Deep Base Paint (Home Depot); Minwax Polyacrylic Gloss (Home Depot); 2.5:1 ratio paint to varnish. Mix well.
Brands/Colors mixed:
Golden Fluid Acrylics in Prussian Blue Hue and Phthlo Turquoise; This Little Piggy pigments in Taffy and and Ore; Utrecht Fluid Acrylics in Perinone Orange; Winsor and Newton Permanent Green Light
Golden Fluid Acrylics-- I put about 2-2 1/2 ounces of the pouring medium into a 3 ounce cup, then squirt in color until I reach my desired shade.
For tube paint, I added an ounce of paint (heaping tablespoon) to a 3 ounce cup, then added 2 ounces of pouring medium. If still thick then I'll add a teaspoon of varnish/water to thin. (I make a bottle of "Jo-Wa" by adding 1/3 JoSonja Gloss Varnish and the rest water, and keep it in a squeeze bottle and use as my "water.")
All pigments are 1/8th tsp. pre-disbursed with a small amount of JoSonja Varnish to wet it (stir really well), then add into a 3 oz. cup of Pouring Medium; stir well.
Cell Activator (last color on your puddle before you swipe or blow it out-no PM):
Australian Floetrol + Amsterdam Oxide Black and Titanium White. 3:1 ratio Floetrol to paint
