Now that is a waterfall! I can see why you were so excited about this park and Blackwater Falls was amazing and the river was really speeding along. The Overlook was stunning (loved the boardwalk to get there), never seen so many trees all together - what a place to sit and take it all in. Great park and it would be awesome to stay in one of those cabins and hike some of those 20 miles of trails there, cheers Alan

So I always have the opposite effect watching your videos with no trees and the rocky rugged mountainscape. I love seeing your videos since the terrain is so different from where I am. Wow - now that is some ROARING falls! WV is such a beautiful place! LOVE the boardwalk trail - we are suckers for those!! Lindy Point overlook has a very similar view to the PA Grand Canyon in Leonard Harrison State Park! Keep making memories & adventure on! ~Karen & Shannon WOY

Thanks John! So much water coming over that waterfall. The sound of the water was so loud. That amber color is from the spruce and hemlock needles. The river is so clean being high in the mountains, but it doesn't look that way due to its darker color. This was my 1st time ever capturing a marmot. Loved it. ~RVA~

This state park has so much. Such as a great location. I am ready to go back to explore the other side of the gorge. There are a bunch of waterfalls on that side. West Virginia is going to be my new playground. It's not that far and it's just gorgeous up there! Thanks my friend for checking this one out. ~RVA~

I hear ya! Thats what I have to do every time I get back from a hiking, camping or backpacking trip. There is just nothing better to me than the smell of fresh pines. If you’re near Morgantown Coopers Rock State Park has a lot of amazing trails and an easy overlook. Near Blackwater SP you’ve got Davis and Thomas, cool small towns and Canaan Valley as well. Thanks for highlighting some of the beauty of WV.

Man is WV a gem! It's definitely my new playground. I use to go as a kid all the time. But seeing it through adult eyes is completely different. You'll be seeing more videos from amazing hiking and camping places in the state for sure. ~RVA~
