Waterford@8 Alfie, Tom and Frankie

Sporting stars from all over the country, including Waterford, were invited to Áras an Uachtaráin by President Mary McAleese in the autumn of 2000 by way of paying tribute to their special contribution to sport. Matt Keane went along for Waterford@8 and spoke to some local heroes - Alfie Hale, the late Frankie Walsh and the late Tom Cheasty. He also spoke to a national hero - Jimmy Magee.
