I am tired to see people go around making uninformed biased statements, and I understand that you may have personal feelings about a particular city, but this isn't about feeling, but pure facts. I have been to Trinidad's 3 most populated centers; *Port of Spain, San Fernando & Chaguanas* and the only one with any significant development is Port of Spain. P.O.S. is fairly developed but you can't make your judgment on Kingston's development based on this video and not do further research. Because this is just one of the city's many business districts and unfortunately, this is one of the most neglected. Unlike Port of Spain which has most of it's towers concentrated into a small section of the city, Kingston is far more dynamic with most of it's towers spread across the city. Jamaicans need to rejuvenate the colonial buildings downtown ( paint some part fully white, paint some colourfully, build modern buildings in empty plots, make use of the vending culture there and designate roads to certain items like textiles or flowers, like oe streets in haiti, cuba, trinidad,etc), build skyscrapers on the wharf and also throw away the Queen. They want to itch all vendors into a small section when they rejuvenate Kingston, and I don't think thats living up to its potential. In fact, the givernemnts rejuvenaton plans are very mediocre and they are only concntrating on the wharf. Maybe they should take hint fom their neighbour cuba, and decorate the colonial buildings fancily, use limestone and marble, build some modern structure i between. Also, they have a very boring layout for Heroes park. My visions are that instead a regular water fountain, they have a huge marble statue of nanny ( a national hero) in the traditional maroon african patterned dress and accessories, pouring water out of a vase- fountain structure. That would be a real tribute to our great mother! Such plans would truly make Jamaica great. Another thing I'd like to add is tto build townhouses on the street side instead of the low houss or run down apartments. Jamaica has soooooo much potential- I hate when I see the government squander it. I hate to see small buildings on big plots of land! A rpime example of wasteful economics in Jamaica!

I don't always complain about what Jamaica not doing, but when you look at these buildings, they look dated. I felt like I'm watching a 1970s video if drones were invented back then. We need a better representative for a capital. Please hurry up with that 3rd city the government planning to develop, or take a second look at Ocho Rios or Montego Bay!!!!!!
