@kylestanley78434 жыл бұрын
@@dylaneatssushi9412 actually, unconsciously does not work for two reasons. One, to unconsciously do something is to do it whole unconscious, meaning when asleep or otherwise comatose. Secondly, you're using the wrong word. The word you're looking for is subconsciously, and even that doesn't really apply because that pertains to things that you do without thinking about, such as scratching an itch or shifting your weight while standing. The guy above me was correct, involuntarily is the correct word - because you don't in any way mean to do it. Ozone is actually indeed produced. You also get some NOX. 53 Billion, more like around 10 to maybe 25KV. Initially battery voltage gets stepped up via most likely a flyback transformer to a couple kV AC. This "intermediate" voltage is then further stepped up to 10-25kV via a HV cascade. The cascade is made from just capacitors and diodes. The blue blobs are the caps. This part also is what makes stun guns hurt like crazy, the caps store quite a bit of current. If you measure the gap, you could roughly calculate the voltage, usually a spark jumps 1mm every 1kV.

@Silentguy_4 жыл бұрын
Adam Toth Lol No. Hand held tasers don’t convert the battery DC to AC arcs. Between and inverter circuit and transformer you’d lose to much power to be effective. All it does is feed the battery power through a boost switching converter or extremely simple Diode-Capacitor voltage multiplier. You can actually normally tell the difference between AC and DC arcs simply by the way they sound and travel. AC arcs are wild and the high frequency means that it passes relatively easily through the air, while DC is much less violent and travels more like a static shock.
