@skylark.kraken4 ай бұрын
@@bankaihampter2802 I'm pretty sure it is illegal. Damaging public property and also that car cannot be road legal like that. The road I grew up on had someone gouge a fairly shallow line on the road, scraped off the very top flat layer of asphalt, didn't look like much. With typical UK having at least 5 full frost thaw cycles every year that tiny gouge ended up creating large cracks and a deterioration of the road. The council at the time were in the process of going broke so they didn't have the money to resurface the road, it got extremely bad and required emergency services who use the road to complain to get it fixed. The road had been fine for around a decade prior with no cracking. These people should expect to pay for resurfacing the road, it doesn't look like much but it can develop and it's not their road to damage. Also cars aren't toys, they're extremely dangerous, and this disregard for the danger has led to them thinking that doing a burnout with concrete was fine when if it did break apart there would be flying chunks of concrete going towards a public road. I kinda hope that SLC will come down hard on them, this video would be fine if it was entirely on private property without any chance of things being flung into public spaces. Nobody should be at risk of being killed by flying concrete or drive on yet another pot holed road because some people wanted to make a KZbin video. Seen enough reckless people doing things in their cars while someone is filming that it'd be nice for them to be screwed over by the police and councils as much as possible.

Seriously. The moment I realized they were serious about driving on a straight up PUBLIC ROAD I felt like I needed to double check that this wasn't a liveleak video or something. And that was just with the massive CONCRETE tire, let ALONE the flimsy little limestone ones that were already half-way falling apart before they even started driving. Then this psychopath actually thought it was a good idea to HARDCORE ACCELERATE towards a stop sign with traffic up ahead. Don't get me wrong, I respect the need to test dumb ideas with excessive scientific riggor, but holy shit these guys need SO many more safety standards in place. ...And that's not even touching on the very potential lawsuits. The thing about asphalt is you have to put it under a LOT if pressure to get it to hold better. Usually you have steamrollers go over it which creates heat and constant pressure beyond that, you have cars that roll over it further dispersing and compacting it. Concrete isnt too bad if you mix it with a shovel and chop at it, thats what we did when building our decently large fence. Also impact drill works great too lol

Asphalt takes a long time to properly dry. If you waited, i think it would have been fine

4:30 worst channel on KZbin? That is a bold claim ma' man. I saw a guy uploading his entire Witcher III gameplay... at 3 frames per second. You didn't read that wrong, 3. The competition is tight... very tight.

I was wondering why there were no houses or walls made of asphalt, but the wheel instantly falling apart as ANY movement was applied answered that instantly

Reminds me of when Mythbusters tested using logs to make wheels, which actually worked if careful, and worked even better on dirt roads. I could see the concrete version working well in some hypothetical apocalypse type scenario.
