This may be the model I saw with a bulldozer blade attached, clearing a lot in the late 1970's in Blacksburg VA. It was the oldest Deere I'd ever seen, with a very slow turning-engine and open flywheel.

It took some doing to get it started, but I bet it took as long or longer to harness a team of horses! And then the tractor could run non-stop from dawn to dark if need, whereas the horses had to regularly stop and rest.

A nearly 100 year old machine that still works... I wonder if I can buy any tractor or car that will still be able to function 200 years from now...

Im hoping this is a typo because id say its more 100 years old than 200. John deere didnt even make his first plow 200 years ago.

Cars aren't even manufactured before 1908 the first car that was invented wasn't even in production
