The School House {boarding house) used the former Lindores Manor Hotel. The hotel had closed 2009 and Greenock Telegraph published an article with the property owner in April 2012. Lindores Manor is a Category C listed building built by the Lyle family (Tate and Lyle sugar refiners) in the mid 1800s. The building was used as a hospital during World War 1 and later as a hotel and restaurant. After Waterloo Road, the manor and coach house were converted to apartments.

Feel so sorry for Rose Kelly, 1st Denzel went to prison for a couple of months but then returned, then Earl shot Maxine, making him go to prison, then Marley went off to Collage or university (cant remember) Then Sambuca died of cancer (the best character), then Denzil died in a car accident, so now Rose is just left with Prince, i hope Prince lived till he was about 100 lol

In real life I think they were gonna demolish the set or something, as for the storyline, the school was gonna get closed down, so Byrne went with Lorraine to a school she created in Scotland, and brought some students and staff with them.
