We never saw Izzie Redpath's father, but if Izzie Redpath's dad was in it, the most suitable actor to play that part would be Alun Armstrong. I saw that because when you look at Izzie Redpath's (Jill Halfpenny) face at 45:45 she looks like she could be Alun Armstrong's daughter. Furthermore when the actor Alun Armstrong was born in 1946 I think he was born in Newcastle the same as Jill Halfpenny. For all we know Jill Halfpenny could be Alun Armstrong's niece. Come to think of it Colonel Blink the fat short-sighted gink. would mistake Jill Halfpenny for Alun Armstrong and vice-versa.
