Waterman 52V Black Hard Rubber Incredible Flex

An absolutely beautiful Waterman 52V in glossy black hard rubber. Really nice pen with a classic Waterman flex nib and feed! This thing doesn't quit. An amazing writer approaching or in wet noodle territory.

You nailed it, in addition to length of the tines, it is the alloy & how it was tempered that determines the flex. Watermans knew how to make these nibs, sadly the knowledge was lost. Then there is the super simple feed that works very well. Another feature unique to Watermans. Glad they made millions of these so some are still around for us to enjoy.

Great video and beautiful writing. How can I get any pen stopper or universal clips for these type of vintage pens? I have several black bird/ Swan Mabie pens I am planing to try some Caveko Bronze clips. It sounds very crazy but I am considering some clips. Recently I bought a Swan Marie BCHR pen it is with a vintage Waterman Ideal universal clip. I am looking for something exactly like that.
