I think the point of this product is that you can shoot underwater for like 70 EUR, and if you want the best experience, you can still buy the 2000 EUR nauticam housing. Choose your budget :P

I mean I'm all in for a better option for a regular consumer, but I couldn't really find anything I could put my XE4 to take some fun shots 2x a year... so if you have any better suggestion, I'm all ears :) I wanna get something for my X-E4 to take underwater shots next summer

I think this is not really meant for Diving/snorkeling. I see this more for like taking your camera on the waves, boat, kayak... where the weather sealing is compromised or you might get sumerged temporarily.

I might be mistaken but it seems that you bought the Mid-DSLR case instead of the one for mirrorless bodies. I'm actually curious because I am looking to buy a camera water housing and this seems to have a good price point. I have a sony a7iii. thanks

Hi Alex, thanks for the comment. I actually bought the one that was recommended for my camera and lens. One has the lens tube shorter and my lens wouldn't have fit. To be honest, I do not think it matters. It is just a useless product. ;)

I had one of those and the second time I put it underwater in a shallow river the water came in and destroyed my camera (a GH5) ... very dangerous and not practical.

@@wcsdiaries I was at the surface, not even 20cm deep, but there was a stream in the river and probably it undid the velcro. Very unpractical aside of the unreliability. I am going to try the Outex bags which seem reliable, and let you handle the camera and get good images

That is not a case that is a shield for your camera to be Burrtec did from the water damage.
