Waterproofing Wood w/ Epoxy for Jon Boat Build

This is the final video showcasing the start to finish process of waterproofing plywood for a jon boat using Better Boat (betterboat.com) clear epoxy. I've found epoxy to be an excellent permeant waterproofer for plywood when using in a marine environment. I also tackle the task of installing the plywood into the aluminum boat using a variety of methods such as stainless screws, aluminum rivets and VELCRO!

Hi Mike, whats the quality/thickness of the plywood that you used? I plan on adding epoxy to a floor deck on my boat as well

Do you glue the foam insulation to the floor of the boat, if yes what glue/adhesive to use. OR do you just velcro epoxied plywood flooring to ribs and call it good? Thx for your time. I would not attempt any of this without your help!

I did not glue the foam board to the floor, you don't need to since the floor is meant to hold it down. Especially if you affix the floor using screws.

Did you epoxy the top, sides, and bottom? Or the top and sides only?

Every side got epoxy
