The 550i water pump pulley had to much play so I decided to replace it and eventually also took care of my coolant leak!

Should have got a new thermostat. If the water pump went bad more likely the thermostat will go shortly.

You didn’t explain how you were able to get off the lower bolts and reinstall them. Because I know for fact you can not see them all from the top.

i apologize for that, i just used a magnet to finess it in and used a small ratchet and socket 👍🏻

Are they the bolts slightly behind the harmonic balancer and drive pulley? That bolt
