What does 'Too Much Water' mean? He never says how high the water should be when salt level.is very low. Mine is 1/3 full.of water

This all depends on what type of system/softener you have in your home. It can depend on if it's a pre-fill (filling with water before regeneration) or post-fill (leaving water in the tank between regenerations). Even then it can depend on displacement depending on how much salt is in the brine tank and the salt dosage the system is programmed to use in each regeneration. In general, if the water level is always at the overflow elbow then that would be considered "too full or too much water". And if that is the case then you might want to reach out to your local dealer for a maintenance request.

Mine just had a clogged brine tube.

Did you find out what was clogging the brine tube? That is very rare.

@@WaterTechFiltration I just assume salt build up. I have the end by the drain tube ran up into a larger pvc pipe because the water pressure was making the water come out past the drain and flooding the floor. I didn't bother to take the end out and see.

Lmao you should relieve the pressure FIRST before removing the drain elbow

There is no harm in removing the drain or brine elbow with the unit in service. In order to verify if the spacer stack is bad, the system needs to be in service with water flowing through it. When removing the brine and drain elbow, there should be no water flowing through those ports. If water is flowing through the ports, (typically small amounts) then the spacer stack is bad and will need to be replaced.
