Did 5 Laps today but you gotta use the street now apperently they put a fence up by the solar farm.

I saw an opening today going around the fence. I like the drop in by the solar panels better because I come in with more speed, but the bridges and berms are nice off Antonio... 5 Laps Did you lose count?

Nice riding brother. Thats such a great way to improve your skills, if you can keep re-running the same trail. Got some serious speed on it. Got me some trail envy. 🤙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I think it's the best trail there is because so many people can enjoy it. I used to really push it, but Waterworks has sent me to the hospital twice. Now I take it with a little more caution, although I almost eat it badly after going left of the tree after the back to back jumps.... :)

300 laps! That is wild man, I don’t think there is any trail that I will ever hit 300 laps on. I can see why it is such a repeatable ride though. Looks like such a sweet run.

Sweet! I live in the Tustin/Irvine area and can't wait to hit as many trails as I can. Just seems difficult learning the trails, as far as how to get back to the trail head and such.
@MTBMOR
@MTBMOR 4 жыл бұрын
@@ocmtb9533 This one's pretty easy....you can take Escalator up like I did in this video, or there is a paved path that will take you up to Oso...There are a few other trails that are almost parallel to Waterworks that you can also ride very easily.

Bummer on being hurt. It' a good place to ride when you are just getting back on the bike because there is nothing gnarly and the climb back is easy. I am recovering from a freak knee injury and it has been perfect.

Looks like a super fun trail, congratulations on 300 laps. Where do you park for this trail?
@MTBMOR
@MTBMOR 4 жыл бұрын
Right now people are parking at the Water District off Antonio. I like to park at Cox Park off Crown Valley or at Fire Station 58 off Antonio. All are good right now.
@esrafilisadventures
@esrafilisadventures 3 жыл бұрын
What is the address to that starting point? Also, do you have that trail mapped out? The first-timer wants to hit that trail.
@MTBMOR
@MTBMOR 3 жыл бұрын
You won't need a map. Waterworks starts off Antonio and ends in a dirt road at the bottom of the canyon. When you hit the dirt road turn right ( The trail spits you out that way). Continue pedaling until you see a paved road that will take you up to Oso. To get more looks at the area you can search Ladera Ridge and Rage. They are right above Waterworks. Trailforks and MTBProject should have maps. The easiest parking is at the Water District off Antonio.

@MTBMOR
@MTBMOR 3 жыл бұрын
@@esrafilisadventures I know people ride it at night. I am not a much of a night rider myself. I would make sure to have a helmet mounted light to see because your handlebar light will not be able to show you where you are going. I would ride it during the day first to see all the turns. My pleasure talking trails...

Do I have to be the A$&hole that tells people not to bring their toddlers on their little pink bikes to the single track? I almost took a couple of kids out last weekend on water works… 🤬
@MTBMOR
@MTBMOR 3 жыл бұрын
Hmm...that's a good one. How did they get down the first steep section? or were they coming up? I advise people all the time that going up Waterworks, or Rage, or Plunger are bad ideas and not safe....I don't think that makes you an A-hole. It's what we do as a MTB community. Sometimes we all need to vent....
