Yes, same! My intention had been to arrive here a couple hours earlier in the morning, to avoid the crowd. But, things don't always go according to plan, LOL. Still worth it!

wow, what a place, this one has been on my bucket list for a long time. Definitely stunning, so many waterfalls along the way, yes, so green and mossy. That less crowded trail at the end it so well worth it. Just beautiful!! Happy Bday to you!

Thanks Nicole! We loved this place, it had been on my bucket list for a long time too. The park isn't big, doesn't take too long to explore the gorge, but there is LOT of other natural areas nearby, including state parks, state forests, and national forests. Had the weather not turned on us, we would have camped in the nearby Finger Lakes National Forest that night.

That is pretty awesome. Looks like you needed a swimsuit for part of that trail that went behind the falls. Super cool area. The bridges and narrow canyons were pretty unique. Awesome video. Have a great day.

We definitely got wet! So worth it though. They closed the trail for the season the week after we were there, I can only imagine how icy it gets in the winter!

It's not a big park, but that gorge is awesome, and there are a lot of other parks and forests in the area to explore as well. Would be a great place to camp!

Did Cellphone service work on the trail,in case of emergency?

Good question, but honestly, I don't remember if it did. I wasn't too worried about it since the trail isn't all that long, and was constantly busy with people.

@@SlonesWildernessExpeditions I use a Garmin Oregon 700 and track all my hikes. You can upload it to basecamp on a computer. I like seeing the tracks superimposed on the map it clarifies a lot of things you should try it and it will journal all your hikes for you that way. Additionally you can add notes if you’d like to.
