The neighborhood crows hated my mom. There was a dead crow in our yard and they were having a crow funeral for it. Crows actually have funerals. Very loud cawing over the dead body for days... Anyways, my mom picked up the dead crow and threw it in the trash can. This offended them so much that for the rest of the time she lived at that house they took revenge by loudly cawing at her every time she went outside and designating her car as the crow family toilet. Her car would be covered in crow feces daily. What's really interesting is that this went on for 15 years which means that the crows were teaching their offspring to also hate my mom. Crows hold grudges and pass them on through the generations. They are spiteful creatures 😂...

They are not spiteful. They are creatures of great sensitivity and high intelligence ! I feel bad for what your mom went through but these birds are most definetly of a feather.. Liken the experience in reverse.iIf a Crow or Raven picked up your dead relative and thew them in the trash You would be very pissed off ! You would hold a grudge. You would .warn your family . Again they are amazingly highly intelligent and evolved ! 😮h, I know ! You Love The Crows and Ravens. They are like your Kin .! I want in on that ! .

They also can be appreciative, giving attention and even gifts as many accounts give. The ways of the Crow have saved many pioneers, hunters and miners that were starving and led to carrion ( yuck). Crows have some qualities that are humanlike. I wouldn't wager anything on how any animals or insects are supposed to act after all it's not the First World.

It's not that difficult to show compassion for the dead or the living kin of an animal. Next time while the birds look on maybe put some flowers around the Crow and an offering of food. If you plan to remove the remains of the loved one at least wait until late at night in the dark when they sleep.

Corvids are wicked smart. I worked at a remote camp in Northern BC, Canada and some one has left a wolf/husky pup chained to a pole and had to leave it behind. That dog was the most beautiful and friendly animal I had ever seen or "met'. The puppy couldn't reach it's bowl and the Ravens would grab food from the bowl and bring it to the dog. So, the camp informally made the dog it's mascot but I didn't know her history, of course. When I first started cooking, I brought some food out for the dog on my break. The Ravens immediately flocked to the dish from outta nowhere, about 12-15 of them, and started chowing down, making all kinds of racket, some of it sounded a lot like barking!!( A murder of crows, indeed!!). The dog came out of the bush and I said to the other guy: Those birds better get lost or they gonna end up on the menu. The guy just laughed and said: Nope. Watch this. The dog trotted up, gave a little woof, and without even looking up, they made room for her and they all ate together. The Ravens had saved the dog when it was a pup and adopted her as their own. The other guys told me stories of the birds bringing rabbits, mice, and other birds to the dog when he was forgotten to be fed. Mother nature is truly metal!!

I love your Comment for so many reasons.....Mainly , you tell a good story that is for damn sure....I used to follow my ex-husband to a few oil-rigs in the middle of nowhere upper BC and I noticed the Ravens were fearless to me when I approached them and two of them actually strolled beside me when I would take a walk.... A crow has the intelligence of a 7-year-old human. Crows saved the life of my wife when she was walking on the campus of the University of Queensland in Brisbane. She was about to enter a garden but a number of crows started shouting. So she stopped and could see a snake in that garden.

Crows are highly intelligent and remember things for a long time. If you harm one or do something bad to it, they'll not only remember you and attack you later whenever they see you, they'll teach their whole family unit to attack you, too. But likewise if you do something nice for them like give them food, they'll remember and trust you and teach the other members of their family to trust you also.

I've been in a relationship with a generational family of crows over the past 15 or so years. I'm still waiting for something shiny. They all look the same absent behavior. The matriarch is the watch. She comes to call first and then either caws at me or caws to the others who swoop in. I thought they were just conditioned to the food until I called to them on a day I usually did not work from the opposite side of the building and they came to me. It's very satisfying. Like petting a dog or scratching a cat. One guy called me the crow whisperer, but he wanted me to call crows to kill them. He was a farmer.

@@kevinmunger1842 Never kill a crow. They're not harmful to farmers even though some farmers want to kill them for some reason. We've been in a relationship with a family of crows for several years also. It started out with just a mated pair but grew into them bringing their offspring around for the free food. They're about half tame, swooping in to get their food when we're still standing there nearby. They also follow us around the yard in the spring and summer when we're doing yard work, watching us and hoping for an extra handout. But they haven't brought us any shiny presents either, at least none that we've noticed.

I was once working in an apple orchard and sat down under one of the trees to eat lunch. There's was a magpie hangin around and I threw it a little crust off my sandwich which it ate up so threw it few more small bits. Then it let out a few calls to tell it's mates where to come for some free lunch and next thing you know there was 20 or 30 of them in the trees all around me. It was really friggin cool but at the same time a little intimidating like something out of Hitchcock's the birds lol. Think they got more of my lunch then I did that day lol. But I made some friends. And from then on whenever I'd sit down for lunch a whole heap of em would turn up for a free feed so I started taking extra bread with me to work so I'd still have something to eat lol. Didn't take long before I was literally hand feeding them. They'd come and take the bread out of my hand. And we've got some that hang around out the front of a local supermarket and one day while I was sitting on a bench out the front eating something one of them flies on to the arm rest right next to me and while i'm looking the other way and just stole the food right outa my hand, the cheeky bastard lol

I loooooove corvids. I once rescued an injured raven and set her free after she recovered. The whole flock was nice to me after that, but it took her 2 weeks to go back to her flock and stop returning back to my apartmant. I miss her so much. After I moved out of the capital I always kept thinking about her and the rest of the flock. Ravens are one of my favourite animals

It's very interesting about the man who is attacked by crows every time he goes outside... I wasn't aware of this case. It could explain why I have quite a beautiful relationship with the crows that inhabit a church graveyard near my home, here in England. I recused a baby crow some years ago. I sat on a grave stone with her in my arms until she felt ready. I could see her family in the tall trees above, watching. I didnt feel threated in anyway, as I have always loved birds. When the baby crow had recovered from shock, I threw her gently and she flew back up to her family. Since then, the crows seem to hop around near me and I like to think they are greeting me. They make cute purring like noises (best way to describe it) and they just seem happy that I’ve dropped by whenever I walk my dog round there. So maybe that same family remember me. The crow family are one of the most intelligent creatures on earth after all

Man I too have had a very bad experience with crows. Let me tell you my side of story. When i was 14yrs of age, a dove pair came onto a near by Neem Tree and made a nest and lays some eggs. I can see themm from my Balcony. But one day A crow pair came and destroyed their nest and even destroyed their eggs . After that they start building their own nest. Me who had watched all this . I began pelting small stones at those crow. But that was my mistake. One day i was sitting in my balcony reading a book suddenly a crow attacked on my head. I thought it might be a coincidence that a crow hit me on my head but then i was attacked continuously by the pair. Infact Whenever i went into the balcony I was being attacked. First I thought they will attack anyone but they used to attack only me not my little sister not my mother but only me. Due to this I began pelting them whenever i see them. But the thing gotten worse as I thought that they attacked me when I will be in balcony but soon they began to chase me whenever I went outside even when I go to my school bus they attacked me from no where. Even they ganged up with other crows and chased me. These instances repeated for 3 years but after that they stopped. Man that was horrifying for me as I used to went outside while wearing a cap and mask at those time 🙂. Crows are dangerous 🙂. Itachi why 🙂

Birds, including Ravens and crows - often offer cleaning services to mammals covered in ticks and other parasite. The birds get easy food, and the animals get pest removal. Crows and Ravens recognize human faces. If they feel you are an enemy or you do something to them, they remember and do hold grudges / attack. People who have feed or helped these birds often find them bringing them gifts and even defending them against other animals, even other humans. There was a boy who had been bullied. He started feeding crows in his back yard. A few week later the boys who bullied him found themselves being attacked by crows whenever they tried to attack the boy.

I love these birds, when my dog passed away during the pandemic,i was looking for some kind of way to kill my time on the beach,i started feeding the crows,its been a year now that I've been feeding them. I have a family of five crows that know me at work and come to my call. They are the current iteration of a few generations of this family. The feeding conditioning and my presence stem from feeding Lefty, a crow with a maimed leg going into winter. I tried to keep im fed. Alas, in the end he could not compete. I like to think that the crows "think about me". I wonder too, why there are five birds now when the past iterations have been six birds. I suspect a death. I feed the crows, lest they carry my soul and it be a heavy burden.

I feed hundreds of crows every day and they even have gifted me items. They show up as soon as I leave my apartment and will follow and hang out with me everywhere I go in about a 1 sq mile radius each day until I literally walk back through the front door to my apt building. They are very loyal and good friends. I can make loud crow calls and they will answer back and come, even from blocks away in the middle of the city.

I live on a small beaver pond and the crows are the guards of the area. They will remove anything they deem a threat to the birds from coyotes to bald eagles. I started feeding them and if I'm late they will peck at the sliding door until I bring them food. They are amazing birds, indeed.

My friend has a very large flock of parrots….and she rehabs and releases crows at her house so they will keep guard of the area and the parrots live in peace…she no longer has to worry about predators. The Crows get a gorgeous smorgasbord of food everyday in trade for their service

Ive posted a couple corvid stories here and elsewhere onyoutube…but one of my all time favorites was coming into the wildlife rehab one morning,..we had at least ten Raven babies and 40-50 baby Crows…it was a cool new set up that year where they were all together…like ten to a cage…so could be more. I walked in and said Good morning. Hello. So good to see you Hi.. a chorus of Good morning. Hello and a bevy of Hi’s returned… I ran out leaning against a treee breathing heavily with an oh shit only a rehabber can understand. We arent supposed to imprint them or teAch them human ways as they can be non releasable….especially if they talk….so not just one random bird that mimics….and placing them at an educational facility….Im faced with god knows how many A++++ students…. I catch my breath and go to the hospital manager to have a quiet discussion to explain what I encountered. She grabbed my arm and said IKNOW!! We both kept it hush hush and told everyone not to talk in their space….so if you live in So Cal….and your neighborhood Corvid says Good Morning!, hello!, etc…. You know why

I had a problem with Starlings similar to the man and the crows. They would attack me when I ever went out to my garden. Eventually I got tired of it. And set up a big bird cage in the garden I had in the garage and got a net to catch them in mid air as they came at me and I put them in the cage. There were 12 in total I caught. I kept them for 2 weeks. I would put my hand round them and grip slightly then when they relaxed I relaxed, then gently pet them letting know I wasn't going to hurt them. I also fed them dried mealworms by hand. After the 2 weeks or so, I released them I still see them around and they never attacked me again.

My Grandparents had a black walnut tree. Crows would get a walnut fly up and drop it on the nearby street to break it. Then they got really lazy and then would get a walnut and toss it out onto the street and sit there and wait for a car to come by and run over the walnut and break it open and when the coast was clear from cars they would go out and eat the broken walnut. Just amazing how smart they are.

@@madenabennett No Japan, American Black walnut tree in southern Cal. Just a few crows used to hang out around the walnut tree. Once or twice year a whole flock of parrots would show up, they did a lot of damage to the tree when they appeared.

@@elcajondavid1 that is simply CRAZY!!!! Do you know of the studies they are doing in Japan with the walnut trees and crows???? It is spreading across Japan…but started in one neighborhood. They are using this as a way to study culture among crows….if you havent seen the videos just put in japan crows and walnuts and it will be like watching your own back yard….they have learned to put them on the crosswalk and watch the lights so as to avoid traffic…THANK YOU!!!

I just know how smart they are from watching them grabbing walnuts from the tree and ground around the tree and what they did with the walnuts by flying up and dropping them on the street or tossing them onto the street waiting for a car to run them over. Nobody I knew trained them to do that. It was a while before I figured it out because the walnut was a good 50 yards from the street and I could not figure out how the walnut shells and whole walnuts were getting into the street from that distance. Amazing birds but I wished they would eat the mulberries off the mulberry trees' because when they fell it turned the ground into jelly and I would have to mow around the trees and it was messy.

I remember my dad and stepmother feeding the birds in the mornings. They would throw out old bread and watch all of then fly in to eat. Then one day I was listening to my stepmother. This woman was so mad that crows were flying in and eating all the bread. They would literally runoff all the other birds so they could get all the food. One day I heard a story about a little girl in the Northwestern U.S that fed and watered the crows. These birds showed real life gratitude towards the little girl and her mom. The crows would literally bring them shiny things and leave them for the little girl. Ever since I heard this story about these crows, I have been wanting one. Unfortunately the only way for me to get my hands on a crow is if I would Rob a birds nest and take one. This I won't do and I have just had to face the fact that I won't never have one as a pet. They are truly a special type of bird and will either love you or hate you. I'd just say don't pass them off and you will be fine. Lmao.

If you see any crows and want to make friends bring out an egg. Make a little noise to attract their attention and show the egg, then place it down preferably on a bit of grass off the road where they won’t be disturbed eating it. Move away and they should let you watch them eat it. Make sure and let them break it themselves and you will see pure joy.

I once saw a crow feeding on roadkill in my driving lane just ahead of me. As my car approached going about 50 mph, the crow simply took four steps to his left crossing the median line instead of flying away. The crow just knew my car would stay in the lane on that side. Most birds would fly away in fear. After I passed, looking in my mirror, I saw that he calmly took a few steps and strolled back over the line and went back to enjoying his meal. Very intelligent bird.

I'm from Seattle and we were driving in the morning after partying all night, and there was was about 5 crows and 1 seagull eating roadkill in the middle of the street. My friend floors it and BOOM! A cloud of white feathers and turned to see crows doing that walk like they are old mafia guys back to the roadkill. It was extremely obvious the crows knew we were coming and did their best to block it from the seagull till the last second . Everyone was happy that morning, and we couldn't have set that seagull up better if we tried.

My grandfather had a pet crow growing up...his name was Jim. Not for the reason you're thinking of! Anyway...he suddenly had hundreds of crows in a tree in his front yard one day, and they were SO LOUD that they couldn't hear anything else. They caused chaos. Someone told him how to make them leave. He killed one and hung it in the tree. They came back the next day...loud as EVER. The following day though....gone. Forever. I'm NOT saying anybody should do that, but he lived on a working farm back in the 40s and crows were a nuisance to them.

A lot of states still open kill seasons on crows for “agricultural “purposes…its so insanely stupid as they, like wolves will teach the generations to come to “behave.” A group of students…instead of poisoning jays (another in the corvid family) in state parks for eating Murrelet eggs (a very endangered bird with very specific nesting requirements) painted “dummy” eggs…lacing the eggs with carbomol (virtually harmless…but can make you puke until say… monday morning). The jays who had happily eaten the eggs of the murrelets for years…were now teaching their young…”dude…stay away from the nasty nasty puke eggs..while they used to be delightful…you dont want to puke until Monday”,,

My first job out of college was at a bird sanctuary. We mostly rehabed injured birds and returned them to the wild, but we had a number of permanent residents that could not be released. I was cleaning the crow enclosure one day when one of them swooped down and painfully plucked a large blister off the back of my ear (I learned to wear sunscreen after that). I wonder if he thought the blister was a fat shiny tick?

I have been feeding my local crow family- it began about 10 years ago. Mr Crow was flying erratically and crashing into things in my garden. I realized he was probably drunk- there is a station car park next door and I see half empty cans of beer left behind from time to time. He had probably investigated a can and found a little beer inside and had a slurp or two. Crows are very inquisitive and this bird is- he will go into my garage if the door is open and mess about inside- so I keep the door shut, now!

Crows have been known to hang around a house where someone is going to die. I have seen this personally at least 3 times from my neighbors. Every time they passed away then they leave. Awesome birds. I had one for awhile nursing it back from an attack. I left it outside by my garage on the 4th of July and the neighbors backyard firework smoke did it in. I was in the front yard with my children. It was young and I was hoping to train it.

In Hinduism, after a family member passes & their cremation is over, the next of kin has to feed rice balls to crows - it is believed that the crows will come immediately upon calling them (they usually do) & if they don't - then it means the person who passed away is angry at the next of kin over something & that issue wasn't settled before dying & must be found out & settled immediately.

A friend of mine chased a crow out of her garden one summer and made herself an enemy. He would dive bomb her every time he caught her outside. She moved to another town (not because of the crow) and after a bit she started getting dive bombed again. He had followed her to the next town! Never piss off a crow.

I had this same exact problem with birds (not crows) growing up. At the end of our driveway, where the mailbox was, there was an empty bird's nest on the ground. The birds (forgot the species) thought that I had somehow ruined the nest and always attacked me when I went to get the mail. Freaky.

Crows are beautiful creatures, highly intelligent. I once watched as a pair of them worked together to open a wheelie bin, then one held it open while the other brought out food scraps for the two of them. If they attack you can bet there is a damned good reason for it. Talking crows are not that uncommon I knew some people that had a crow named Jacko who had quite a large vocabulary and could emulate a lot of sounds.

The reason why birds die from smoking is because a birds lungs can constantly consume air, while breathing in and out. This allows them to fly without getting exhausted, but they can get overheated. The smoke could have make the lungs faulty, causing them not to fly as far as they could. This could cause the bird to be left behind flocks, attacked by predators, or not access to fruits and berries. In short, lungs are very important to birds, and that’s why viruses that affects the lungs, and pollutants cause so much damage.

My husband worked at a school and had to pick up after the students after their lunches. Crows and seagulls would show up at this time and would help in the pick up. No aggression on either part of my husband or the birds. Everything went amicably. Crows are not bad birds. But given the declining nature of human beings who don’t even say “good morning” to one another, I will tell you if you have a kind heart, you generally will not have a problem with most animals, so long as they are healthy. My husband has a special gift with birds. We have a humming bird feeder and the birds come and even sit on his shoulder sometimes.

My mother always told me that if a crow comes sitting on your roof and start cawing? Is that the word for the sound they make?, a person in that house would die soon. Scarily enough at this point in life there was death all around us in those houses around us. Good thing I'm not superstitious and I actually love and respect these smart birds. In my place , crows are not found . However we tend to hear them cawing at midnight sometimes (rarely), which itself is pretty odd considering they are morning birds. It has been passed down from our ancestors that hearing a crow cawing signifies someone in that area is about to die . Anyone experiences that same thing ?? I personally have heard them cawing at night and it terrifies me considering they have bever been found , just heard...

1) crows do not typically attack live animals like hedgehogs or lambs with the intent to kill. They tend to feed on dead carrion, not kill mammals. If they do attack other animals it is usually to defend territory or food. There have been examples of them attacking lambs but these are usually weak or frail, unhealthy lambs. If farmer do complain about crows killing a lamb, just remember what farmers do to those same lambs. Chops anyone? 2) that is a photo of a bald eagle with the crow on its back, not a sea eagle 3)crows have been shown to recognize human faces and they will hold a grudge if they think you have harmed on of their own

Corvids are scary smart. There’s a pair of Australian Ravens that live in my building and they recognise individual humans - I occasionally give them leftover steak and Chinese dumplings so they quite like me and will always come to check me out whenever they see me. I also do wildlife rescue and fostered a baby Raven a few years ago which was an amazing experience. Although classified as “insectivores”, like all sauropsids they’re opportunistic carnivores.

True Story: Me and my brother were walking one day and as we were making our way to about midway through the block we saw a sparrow on the floor. Just then we saw a crow fly in with a small mouse in its Mouth which it placed literally right next to the sparrow. I mean the crow placed the baby mouse perfectly adjacent side-by-side to the sparrow. When the crow saw us looking at what it was doing it stopped for a second then flew across the street as if we disturbed or disrupted its ceremony. We stared at the mouse and sparrow for about three minutes while the crow set across the street until we decided to finally leave. Once the crow saw us leaving the area it flew back towards the mouse and sparrow and began finishing. Still to this day it was the strangest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.

I feed the local crows and one and only one of them tries to attack me to get my attention that it wants food. He comes over once or twice a year. He’s never come near me because I turn around to look at him every time he flies. I think lately the outsiders are coming to me for food. They don’t seem to alert the others that there’s food probably because they are the runts of the pack and need it more than the rest.

I was once attacked by two crows. I had climbed the that part of the terrace which was usually inaccessible (it is very narrow and exposed) and rarely visited. Suddenly two crows swooped on me and pecked my head. I was lucky. I could have fallen down and maybe grievously injured. I quickly stabilized myself and stood my ground. After I loudly shouted them away, they probably understood that I cannot be chased away and I also mean no harm to them. Since that day, I have climbed that attic several times and never been attacked.

I found a baby crow once when in my early teens and raised it. Black Joe loved to take my father's badge and watch and drop them in the water well behind the stove or in the dish pan.. He'd pull the clothespins off mom's drying laundry and it would fall to the ground. (Guess who had to get out the tub and washboard and rewash the laundry.) He knew he did wrong because he's say ''bad Joe'' . When he was nice, he'd say ''good Joe", (he hated mice in the feed shed and would catch them and fly off somewhere with them.) but you can say everyone was happy when he eloped with a beautiful lady crow. He'd return now and then, but his lady refused to come meet us. Eventually he stopped coming around.

My friend who lives in Australia often gets attacked by these birds when he rides his bicycle. He developed a plan to stop this. He brought a construction workers hard hat. Put some chicken wire over it. Then attached to a 6 volt battery…… After diving into the helmet and reviving a shock. They no longer attack him. But they do still attack everyone else in his in his local area 😂

They are very smart. I've sat and observed them for hrs. Don't think for a second that it wasn't an act of kindness and taking advantage of an easy meal. Crows will help other animals if they can think of a way to. Not all crows of course. They have different personalities just like people. My mom used to put stale bread out for the birds. The crows would come and soak the bread in the birdbath to soften it before consuming. If there was no bread outside, they would come to the window and squawk until she fed them.

we have this farmer with crows problem, the crows attack his chicken and kill some of them, he finds the nests of the crows and kill there chicks in front of them, all the other farmers did the same thing, the crows after that left the area all at once, That was a very violent solution But it worked, Don't Mess With Crazy Farmers is the moral of the story.

Crows are actually well known for recreating sounds. There are plenty of videos of crows imitating human language like "Hi" or "Hello" or other sounds like water drops, animal sounds... That does not mean they understand the meaning of the words they probably just recreate the sound. But they are highly intelligent for sure.and creative problem solver.

I used to get crows in my yard all the time and they would wake me up every weekend. I decided I had enough and got out my paintball gun and let it rip. A crow hasn't landed in my yard in 7 years. Another crow story is from when I worked on the docks. An eagle had killed a crow and was eating it on top of a power pole. The other crows from the murder came and lined up along the powerline at least 20 on each side of the eagle as a form of mourning.

I had a big rock I used for a door stop and a raven perched on my balcony. There wasn't room to throw the rock so like a shot put I pushed it at the bird. I was hoping to stun it and capture it as a pet. I grew up taking wild rabbits and ground squirrels, even gophers for pets along with dogs, cats, tame rabbits, chickens, ducks and a pig. The Raven caught himself mid air and flew away. For weeks after it would imitate a baby crying and drove me nuts. It probably tried other sounds until it found one that would bring me to the window and look. Its was the crying a baby makes when it gets hurt. The Raven is a way too clever bird. I thought of shooting it with my pellet gun but it was my fault for rocking its world.

1:48 the hedgehog was definitely infested with ticks. I’ve caught plenty of hedgehogs in the wild to remove their ticks. The crow is probably doing that to eat the ticks. But it won’t be easy with cars roaming around.

Crows are smart, I was at work one day being a union commercial tradesman building a school. I left my sack lunch I made from home out on top of a dumpster I thought well it will be here when I get back. I noticed before going to the area to start my work that there were crows around and I ran them off not thinking they would come back. Well at lunchtime I was very hungry thinking of these excellent lunch meat sandwiches I had made, lettuce mayo cheese I was ready with chips. When I got back to the dumpster where I left the sack lunch on top the crows had split the bag with their beak and pulled out the sandwichs, now check this out they spilt the baggie the sandwiches were in and took out only the meat they left the lettuce and cheese just the meat I was so disappointed and surprised that the crows were that smart and yes I went that day without lunch, true story.

i have witness something familiar with crows in my town in Greece. One kitten was abandoned by its mother and a crow knew that it was helpless. It started swooping at it, grabing it and tossing the kitten to the air. I don't know if it was trying to kill it for fun or to eat it. Both seems to be posible. And i could't interfere out of fear of them because there at least 200 of them in my neighbourhood

I was once working in an apple orchard and sat down under one of the trees to eat lunch. There was an aussie magpie hangin around. They're a lot like crows but not of the same genus. So anyway, I threw it a little crust off my sandwich which it ate up so threw it few more small bits. Then it let out a few calls to tell it's mates where to come for some free lunch and next thing you know there was 20 or 30 of them in the trees all around me. It was really friggin cool but at the same time a little intimidating like something out of Hitchcock's the birds lol. Think they got more of my lunch then I did that day lol. But I made some friends. And from then on whenever I'd sit down for lunch a whole heap of em would turn up for a free feed so I started taking extra bread with me to work so I'd still have something to eat lol. Didn't take long before I was literally hand feeding them. They'd come and take the bread out of my hand. And we've got some that hang around out the front of a local supermarket and one day while I was sitting on a bench out the front eating something one of them flies on to the arm rest right next to me and while i'm looking the other way and just stole the food right outa my hand, the cheeky bastard lol

my grandma had a pet crow she rescued and even when she tried to set it free it always came back, eventually she bought it a huge cage and let it in, it lived for 7 years before she had to give it up to a rescue where it died a year later
