Good revue, and the 100ah batteries are getting more compact, and the stress test was well done. For people such as myself who r/v boondock, for up to a week conserving power is the difference in how long we stay, and it is achievable. No one has published a video on the does and don'ts, example is boiling water in an electric kettle on battery power. Something you might want to look into.

A lot of these BMS work with the overkill solar app. If you want to change the BMS settings, at your own risk of course.

@@s.mendez7160 TEMGOT battery that's what I have personally tested with the overkill solar app. Whatever BMS they use is compatible with the app.

Wow, that is one of the smallest batteries you have reviewed. I would love to see you do a video where you do a diy power station with 12V plugs and a/c and not assume any thing and show every step. Great job.

What if you used 4 of these to make a 24V system, how would the bluetooth app work?

You would have a connection to each battery. The SoC should be the same on all if you top balanced everything before connecting them together.

First! Looking forward in your testing! This must be pouches, than 4 cells? I am not a fan of pouches as there alot more and higher chances 1 fails with much more pouches than a regular 4 cells?

I bought one. Online it says it charges at 15 amp but in the book it came with it says a continuous charge of 20?

20A continuous charge rate is just fine. I believe the max continuous charge rate is 50A or 100A

Wow, if it holds up, it's really great! Off topic, would you (or anyone seeing this) know where/how to get one of those nylon carry straps that almost all the Chinese 100 Ah batteries have? My dog chewed thru one and I'm not finding a source for a replacement. Thanks for all you do.

For me, it would be more useful if, rather than testing the (overcurrent protection) level at which the BMS cuts out (of about 170A), you could demonstrate the maximum current at which the battery WILL operate for 5 minutes (about 150A?). In a campervan, I have a 2000W induction cooker, and I want to know which 100Ah batteries will supply, without cutting out, enough current to deliver as close as possible to 2000W. I can use the cooker at only 1400W, 1600W or 1800W so it's not the end of the world if no 100Ah batteries will fully supply 2000W, but I'd like to know which batteries will provide the highest consistent current. Could you demonstrate the highest current batteries WILL deliver for 5 mins in future videos please? I suspect some 100Ah batteries will actually deliver close to 300A, and I want to know which they are in order to buy one of them (and a 1500W or 2000W inverter).

All of these batteries I test document that the max current is 100A. The intervals aren't made to go much higher consistently. I don't test because I don't want people thinking it's ok to do. It will melt the internal wiring. Your solution is two batteries wired in parallel. Thanks for the comment.

You state the 50% point for the battery is 13.1V, then you state 95% of the battery is between 12.9V and 12.0V. Is there an error here?

No. The lower voltage is under load. Higher voltage is just in standby with no load attached. I hope that makes sense.

If the app is accurate, a .007 volt difference between cells is excellent. Do you know if the battery contains prism or pouch cells? A T Burke

I noticed that before you did the 2nd test the battery was at 13.29v. Is that what it should read at once fully charged and has been sitting a bit? Or should the voltage be higher. Just asking because I just gone one and mine is about 13.33v after sitting 24 hours with no load after charging. Just want to make sure I got a good battery.

That is totally fine. Once you connect a load it will drop to 12.9v, but stay pretty constant for the entire discharge.

@@OffGridBasement Thanks. My only other experience is with the battleborn and it doesn't act that way so wasn't sure what was going on. I also seen another video where a guy opened the wattcycle battery and found that the cells read like 13.4+ volts before the bms and around 13.3 volts after the bms. As though the bms had a continuous draw or had resistance or something being applied.

@@OffGridBasement I have a different question if you have time. I usually charge my lifepo4 batteries with a solar panel. On cloudy days can I use a "4 amp battery charger and maintainer"? It is made by battery tender and does have a lifepo4 setting. Or are these designed just for starter batteries?

well i charged up my MJBSAN battery and it let 109AH into the battery so thats cool even tho the voltage was only 12.5 MAX so who knows im sure these are 120AH cells that are used and now only put out 109AH at most so who knows but its scetchy im sure anyone else would of sent this battery back but i didnt want my mom to think she got a bad ITEM lol so tries so hard to make me happy at times and shit like this happeds i knew something was too good to be true even tho it cost 150.00 dollars witch theres 4 other betteries i could of bought with that price that would of had good cells so owell such is life when your so poor you cant pay shipping cost to send a crap battery back to AMAZON lol owell

i dont dare to push this new battery i just bought because the cells are deffinitly not the same as these other batteries they look like pouch cells so not sure if they can handle 1000watts or not lol also i dont have a good inverter so i cant max this battery out even if i wanted to lol so yeah i know it can run at 500watts for awhile with no issues so im sure it could do 100ah if i really needed it to bit yeah now i need to buy a good inverter lol another 150.00 dollars spent that i dont have so will see
