Another great detailed analysis on an Animenz cover, really helps to shed some light on subtle details that bring out the musicality. Wished I found your channel sooner, this was very educational for me to learn future pieces. Looking forward for more of such content! :)

Watching your videos really draws attention to detail the craftsmanship Animenz puts behind his music and the sheets he arranges. As always, another job well done.

I love your analysis videos of Animenz's arrangements man, they helped me improve a lot. You should also check out Animenz's arrangement of 'Here', I think it's an arrangement worth analysing.

Your videos are teaching me so much about musicality and what to listen for. As a handbell ringer, it's so crucial I be able to know what my pitches are doing in the larger picture of the music so that the choir as a whole can shape lines.

Incredible arrangement and performance by Animenz, and an equally incredible breakdown by you here! Your attention to these sorts of "meta" details really brings forward this more subconscious layer of a performance

Hey, I loved the video. I loved how deep the analysis was, from the explanations of the musical intent and nuances of the performance to the techniques or small tricks employed to play said things. But as someone already mentioned, there are some things you could consider to improve the audio of your videos! Here are some suggestions for you: - Try to always speak with the microphone a couple of centimetres away from you, pointing at the corner of your mouth. This will help with plosives and inconsistent volume. You could change your camera angle to accommodate such a microphone placement. - If you'd rather be able to move around a lot while talking, you could look into a Lavalier microphone--the kind that you clip to your shirt; ideally one with a cardioid polar pattern so that it picks up less piano--then apply the required post-processing (EQ, de-noise, compression) to clean up the recording. They come as either wireless or wired, but even a cheap XLR wired one such as the Movo LV4-C XLR (to be compatible with your audio interface) can probably do the job. - Another kind of microphone you could consider would be shotgun microphones. They are usually very directional, with either supercardioid or hypercardioid polar patterns, and are mostly used for film and video productions. With the proper mic placement and a bit of clean up in post (de-noise, EQ, compression), it can work wonders for subjects that tend to move around as they speak. I hope my suggestions will help you. I'm looking forward to future content!

Been enjoying these reviews on Animenz's pieces. Keep up the great work! :) But I kinda wanna see more of other anipianists such as Theishter's Glassy Sky or Ninelie. Incredibly educational tho, looking forward to more

This was such an amazing experience, analysis + fanboying again. This elevates the appreciation. I guess you also need a good piano that can support all these subtle nuances. If the key are rough or lack depth then it's not good. Mine sound very loud.

I would love to analyze his "Vogel im Käfig" performance. By far my favourite piano piece I've ever heard Also I noticed you have some popping noises from your breath and a lot of loudness variation when you talk. Maybe think about a pop filter and some (stronger) compressors on your talking parts :)

loved the vid, but have one request... please change the audio mixing to make the piano/videos in back louder and your voice a little quieter... It was just a little too loud when u really spoke into the mic lol. got the WattASMR like at 3:30 it is good but at 3:35 is wayyy too loud.

Did you notice at 18:26 that animenz missed one single note? He should hit F# but He hit F instead. I love his piano covers, but his spirio r is bothering me sometimes. He probably edit one of that note and re-record his performance on his spirio. I make some piano cover sometimes, and I do the exact thing with midi, vst and stuff, I don't have spirio :( Please don't hate me, I love animenz's performance as much as you do.

I dunno, i could hear patterns. This song is so imprinted on my mind coz ive been playin it ever since ive watched the series. I could feel a lil bit underwhelming on the intro and right at the end of the chorus like he was missing some notes on the lyric part or melody.

Am I the only one who is disappointed with this one? I mean comparing anything to unravel is unfair, but this piece had so much potential, and he lost all the fearful whispering of the original. Not at all saying i could do any beter, but man... this is the first anime piano song that animenz isn't my favorite.
