HAHAHAHAHA I laughed so hard when I saw that title. I sincerely applaud the ability of an individual to be creative and adapt to the nature of KZbin, so this is a big thumbs up from me. Keep evolved content like this coming and you'll surely grow. A breakdown of Animenz's Unravels (Ver.1 and 2) in which you compare them would probably get loads of attention too, so I hope you'd consider that. Good luck, dude!

WOW as a self taught pianist and still a beginner, it's awesome to see a broken down analysis! I've tried to teach myself how to play his pieces, but they were TOO HARD because I don't understand classical at all, but your insights add a little bit to my box of knowledge!
@ian73573 жыл бұрын
Learning Animenz pieces and still consider yourself a beginner? You must be very dedicated because the technique is so difficult but there’s also this anime musicality thats like “When the opening starts playing during the final fight” which is so hard to produce.

I'm glad this helped! Just take things slow and easy
@sashuo59613 жыл бұрын
you explained my thoughts so well. I couldn't understand what I was thinking whenever I heard his arrangement. he had this sort of "touch" in his arrangements that make it much more sophisticated from a regular pianist. Whenever I tried to play his other simpler arrangements, it just did not sound the same despite the notes being pressed correctly
@JasperTeo3 жыл бұрын
Both great pianists competing my fav animenz arrangement of all time?! Really looking forward to that!!!! Also, your review is better than "someone" I have watched ;)

Can't say I'm near the level of practicing his arrangements, but this was really helpful to keep in mind as a somewhat new piano player. I hadn't considered the depth of technique and planning that goes into some of the things you mentioned like his weight distribution, voicing, and dynamic control. Keep it up!

Awesome video dude, it's always such a pleasure listening to you ;) I have been aware of the importance of weight for a while now but it kinda went forgotten lol. It's so true that is incredibly easy to produce a harsh and ugly sound when playing loud and with higher tempo (even on my digital piano). It currently causes me lots of trouble on a piece I'm working on, so I should definitely see if I can integrate more weight

@dongockienn11 ай бұрын
seriously bro have u ever heard Animenz's Unravel, COLORS, Snow Halation,...,Even this cover???They're all technically harder and way more beautiful than phyxinon's Marigold. Don't get me wrong, phyxinon's covers is great but I think in most of the covers, it sounds a bit too simple especially the bass, not as dynamic and has such great control, smoothness like Animenz, he uses all of his emotions, many classical techniques and usually adds 1 or even 2 other voices in his covers so it almost feels like an orchestra and it really takes a lot of skills. But you guys "non-pianist" are overestimating phyxinon and somes saying that he's better than Animenz😐😐. Come on, just accept the fact that Aninenz is better cause of course, he's a professinally trained pianist and has played for 20+ years and he's a legend.🎹🎹🎹🙂
