Resin clumps kinda look like shiny coins. You could place them underwater so adding them to a fountain, well, or pond can be a nice addition to a build. Like people have been there tossing coins and making wishes

So from experimenting around ingame, i learned a few things: 1 mobs WILL and can spawn in the pale garden despite not being supposed to. 2 you can effectively farm an INFINITE amount of resin if you craft a creaking heart and place it between 2 pale logs. I know the first fact is true cause i had a lot of skeletons and zombies harassing me along with the creaking, hectic but fun

Yeah I hated playing in the snapshot because of this. Getting ganged up on by the immortal creaking, while also getting chased by every other mob, and attacked while being unable to find a creaking heart to kill the creaking with. Ugh. The wood is redundant because we had like 4 white blocks already. And the resin wouldve been better added to the taiga biome IMO. Those big pine trees leaking orange sap onto the Podzol would be divine and beautiful. But I guess this grey hell is fine too.

The resin trim on armor ( especially netherite) make the armor look like samurai armor, which in my opinion is really fucking cool!!!!

Its so ugly, and they made the new mob basically immortal. I dont get why we’d get a depressing biome, and an unnecessary mob (as if we didnt have enough monsters already) instead of adding more details to existing biomes, and filling those biomes with new life. Like maybe snakes, vultures, fireflies, etc. Tree frogs. Lizards.

12:38 did a little testing it seems that resin only grows on pale oak blocks that touch the heart (not 100% sure yet) and shooting arrows causes this affect too so I think arrows from dispensers work too, so a resin farm is plausible

There's a bad new: In 1.21.4, Eating/drinking, sneaking, holding a shield, etc. are no longer affected by sprinting, which means that there will be no sprints when doing these things while sprinting

Ngl, I like the idea of the biome, it fits Minecraft’s spirit of adding things to the game that don’t really necessarily change or even matter to gameplay, but if we are now just getting small biome updates, I really rather see biomes made for the nether or caves.

That's not a bad idea but like, imagine your vision already not so great at night and add a fog on top of that. And to top it off, a fog that could potentially prevent you from locating the tree where the Creaking's heart is located? That'd be Overkill.

Okay but they need to make it where exposed/oxidized copper blocks can be directly crafted into doors/trapdoors etc. Im building a massive greenhouse and want weathered copper trapdoors for my catwalk, so naturally I have hundreds of plain copper trap doors cooking in my yard. Not very efficient.

They should definitely do a small animations and ambience update and improve the older mobs’ animations to fit better with the newer mobs as well (after all, though the older mobs like creepers and pigs are nostalgic, they are starting to show their age and whoever is doing the animations and models has noticeably improved over time, which is great but does make the newer mobs look slightly out of place with the older ones. Seriously, compare the pig and cow’s animations and models with the sniffer’s, goat’s, or even the hoglin’s)

Now if only they can make an update without your world shrinking. Every time they come out with an update my world gets smaller. Especially where I've been building. I've had to start worlds over because it will be corrupted and find out it happens because it's shrinking the area where I'm building and if I'm building in a village it will corrupt the seed because it has to replace the village buildings to accommodate the shrinking landscape. I wish they could stop that from happening.
