Thank you for sharing this part of your life with us. I don't know about anyone else but I was totally moved with inspiration and admiration. I also have over 2000 books in my possession and now feel I am not alone with my passion for art books. These videos are such a gift for us aspiring artists. I am so grateful. Don't know if this is politically correct.. but God Bless You for sharing your enthusiasm and your personal space!!!

Just recently got involved with Watts and I must say it is a very inspiring program. And like Jeff, I love the old books. Both searching them out and then finally placing them in a collection. It's an art form unto itself.

Great Studio tour Jeff! I especially loved your book collection, dads photo and Dean Cornwall original. When my teacher John Murray moved to Tuscan, all of our portrait class chipped in to buy him a drawing! He was a Reilly student so very valuable teaching... which is why I enjoyed your old videos teaching! Love your natural ability to Communicate in a sincere fashion… Missing these days! Keep staying humble I admire your humility. Good luck in your new space I think it’s awesome!

watching this gets me both really excited; and really sad too. Like so many would-be Illustrators/Artists, this studio really embodies what I used to dream of attaining someday: but now I realise that it is too late for me to ever know what having a space like this to work in; would feel like. You have to EARN a studio like this, but so many of us get 'blown-off' the path along the way, and end up stopping drawing for some reason or another (usually from having sub-standard training and teaching in the first place) - I did - and now I'll never have the tower of drawers filled with my back-catalogue of works. I am bouyed though at seeing that at least SOMEONE out there has managed to keep it up over the long years - to persevere and reach those heights of skill and experience: I wish I'd had Jeff Watts as my teacher!!!

W😀 W!!! Yours is my kind of studio! I'm immediately hooked on your attitude, dedication, ongoing learning, character. I'm relocating now, from an attic studio, that I love, to a basement room. Facing organizational dilemma. Your studio tour is so inspirational! You have all the things in there, that I also find necessary to be surrounded by. So many people think I should "get rid off" books, supplies, my past efforts... viewing your tour has put more wind in my sails. I feel more clear headed & ready to tackle my studio project. I am very interested in any future sessions you schedule. Would very much appreciate a schedule of upcoming events. Much Thanks!!! Gloria Brothers ( aka: Leah SkyBird)
