The way I figure it, the intellectual understanding is how you manage to structure your learning correctly, and intuition is the actual content of your practice. Obviously there are things like formal perspective, but their point is more to develop a target to form your intuition around. Actually trying to run your drawing process directly off of intellectual understanding is so inefficient that you can at best only achieve a 'technically proficient' drawing.

Super down to earth and open minded instructor. I like how he said you can adjust your time limit for quick sketch if needed

I love this video, maybe you noticed in the first study that you made her lower leg way too long, as there is foreshortening there, she's squatting a bit, I couldn''t do anything close to what you didthouh, hope that's taken as constructive input

its much better to make the limbs longer than shorter. Think fashion models. Having slighly longer legs would make it slighly more appealing and that is his design choice. Hes not copying. hes translating the model. :)

Love the commentary and patience. Obviously you are drawing limbs- legs and arms- way longer than they actually are. and waist a bit slimmer. I assume this is conscious and would you recommend a complete beginner to just try and draw the proportions they are seeing in the figure?
