What happened to Fox at 10:35? How did he cancel his momentum? Edit: Emphasis on the MOMENTUM. He should've gone a good distance more upwards, this is not like cancelling your attack with a shield drop, at least it does not look like it's the same thing.

platform cancel (different than a ledge cancel). it has to do with how the game detects landing. ECB it's called in the game (a diamond that flattens and stretches based off character animation aka jiggles crouching = flat pancake of an ECB)

@@swbaseball021Not trying to be an expert by any means but is there a chance it’s an aerial cancel? Like doc up air onto plat. Just guessing

It's like if youve ever seen Mango shield drop back air on a platform but then his Falco remains on the platform instead of dropping through. Wouldnt say its like doc's upair since what we saw in the clip is specific to platforms
