Does it take extra time added if you open the door for testing of looking at, or does it stay not and cook as if the door were kept closed ? Do you have to wait for it to waste up again. If is it ready ? Thank you !.

You want to cook a warm steak but the nuwave brio can cook fromfrozen. Try cooking chili in brio bake bucket.

This Power Air Fryer Oven can also cook a steak from fully frozen. The NuWave Bravo and others reviewed here can too.👍🏿

They say you should remove the meat from the heated area an then check temp because that can give you the wrong readings.
@WaveOvenRecipes6 жыл бұрын
I don't agree with _them_ . And, I was well beyond rare already. The cut proves it's medium well done as desired. Removing from the heated area may also give a false reading and potentially overcooked the meat. If I were cooking barely rare, I might remove it from the heat to be extra safe. But I go one better. I don't eat rare meat 👍🏿

@@WaveOvenRecipes Not me because it's better for you to not eat it well done on your digestive system. For guys it can give them colon cancer, that's why I don't eat a well if can help it.

You trying to see how hot the steak is or how hot the oven is, you got to take the steak out of the oven then see if it well done my men

You're incorrect. Cooking meat thermometers can be used during the cook and well done was not my goal for the level of doneness.

@waveovenrecipes I agree. It's like throwing away a piece of bread out of a loaf of bread that has mold on it thinking the rest of the bread is going to be good to eat. It's not. The rest of the bacteria just isn't seen yet. Toss out the whole loaf. Like you said the bacteria isn't just on the top it's all through the meat. Just as the loaf of bread. The heat kills the bacteria. Thank you

Many negative reviews on this product. Check out QVC which sells them, hundreds of negative reviews talking about how after a month or two, it craps out. I have been using NuWave ovens for over a decade and never had one of them break down.
@WaveOvenRecipes5 жыл бұрын
My Power Air Fryer Oven never had any of the issues that some claim. I could talk about the class action in progress right now against NuWave. Every company has upset customers. But if a cooker works for me I am happy. Both the NuWave Oven and Power Air Fryer Oven have performed well for me. I highly recommend both depending on the individual need.

@WaveOvenRecipes6 ай бұрын
As a great man once said, it can reabsorb juices, in my mouth 🤣 Seriously though, sometimes I have, sometimes not. Do what you want. Some folks are dogmatic, be that if you like.

If you washed your hands before you cook there is no reason for gloves unless you are cooking for food service....
@WaveOvenRecipes5 жыл бұрын
I wash my hand before I put the gloves on and even after I take them off, off camera. Food services use gloves for safety. There's no issues with taking the same precautions at home. And I don't care to touch the raw food and such. So multiple good reasons to use food safety gloves. 👍🏿 Did you know even after washing hands multiple times, studies prove most still can't remove germs from food from their hands. No need to worry, gloves make safety easy 👍🏿.
@MrShearer14055 жыл бұрын
@@WaveOvenRecipes yeah but you used 3 pairs of glove to make 1 steak what about the environment? Those gloves aren't bio degradable...do you do that everytime you cook? Or is that for the video... I've been cooking for 40 yrs never gotten sick from my own food ... I wash my hands many time while cooking to guard myself against cross contamination. I've been seeing lots of youtuber do that and it's not necessary...save your gloves and wash your hands.
