"Waverley" meets "Shieldhall" at the Bournemouth Air Festival - 03/09/2023

A meeting of Historic Steam Vessels in Bournemouth Bay for the Air Festival on Sunday 3rd September 2023.
First to arrive and the last to leave was Steamship "Shieldhall" having brought passengers from Poole. She was joined by the Paddle-Steamer "Waverley" for a few hours having brought passengers from Southampton, Yarmouth and Swanage.
The two ships are seen giving greeting and farewell whistles to each other as "Waverley" arrived and then departed again later on.

I saw the Shieldhall fb page post that the two old gals met. Was only 8 second vid... cracking ti see the full things. Thanks for sharing! The wayway lives just up the road from me. Hopefully one day we can see Shieldhall returning to both my hometown and hers in renfrew!!
